What do you like best about the product?
Quick to send invitations to our clients. Can even get in place at the last second.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some older folks we work with have difficulty using this or any technology.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like the whiteboard options. It is easy to use and gives me a better way to get a point across.

Favorite video conferencing tool

What do you like best about the product?
I've used Microsoft Teams, Google meet, and Amazon Chime, and Zoom is my favorite. Very easy to use, frequent bug fixes, and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on if you're using the app or the desktop version, using filters or background can be challenging. But not too big of a deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Daily communication with my remote team. Easy to add to Google calendar invites and multiple ways to send an invite. Quick and easy.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the versatility of helping clients remotely! It allows me to maintain continuity even when issues arise that disrupt business as usual. It also gives me the ability to reach new clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a slight delay that makes it impossible to play music together in real time, but that is the only dissatisfaction I have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has helped me to connect with clients who are unavailable to travel to my location. It has also helped me to meet with students when a parent is unable to provide transportation. Zoom allowed me to maintain my business at the height of the pandemic and I have benefitted from the versatility ever since!

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to speak to more than one person at a time and you can schedule your time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once a screen is shared it is impossible to tell who is talking like you can when you are not sharing. It becomes confusing when trying to figure out who is talking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am unsure how to answer this question, but I don't like that if you haven't paid for a pro account there is no access to chat with a human. I think can potentially lose Zoom customers.

What do you like best about the product?
Recording to the cloud for repeat viewing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to toggle when sharing to see comments. It would easier to use if I could keep the shared screen with a sidebar to see comments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's an easy to use solution for meeting with clients virtually. Having my own domain name is also a plus and validating for many clients.

What do you like best about the product?
We have two offices, one in Houston and one in Dallas. Before we started using zoom our Dallas office would have to drive down every Monday for meetings. It is also easy for the field to login and attend meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not found anything we dislike so far, it has all been positive. We also were not sure if we could just use zoom as a conference call or if it had to be video as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom saves us travel time and we can connect with all the job sites at once for large meetings. We also like the fact it can be as close to face to face meetings and not just a voice over the phone.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple setup To organize a meeting. Really like how there are so many options to add people, mute them, share screens etc
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasional choppiness or when multiple people start talking it can be hard to hear

We can't meet in person often times. So zooming helps a ton!

What do you like best about the product?
I really find the whiteboard option an amazing app. As well as the quality in audio.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes nee audio devices have troubleshooting. I've experience this with headphones the majority of the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wish that the HIPPA compliant version would be available for free, rather than having to buy it.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is fairly easy for anyone to grasp even if using it for the first time. Even those uncomfortable using tech, etc, can quickly become comfortable adjusting settings like the background, name, and more. There are multiple secure options to logon and it's also easy to use with other programs like the Snap camera which allows you to use a ton of other filters and effects along with Zoom itself. Many of our artists and collaborators prefer to meet via Zoom over a standard phone call as they enjoy seeing each other's faces and reactions in real time as well as having the opportunity to show visual examples for the conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Audio quality can be very mixed depending on connections, and the program can be 50/50 on how well it works with an external microphone. Saving a separate audio file from each participant can help, but not always. The settings can also get confusing, as the mic/audio settings won't automatically match your system settings, and certain options seem to get activated/deactivated by themselves. For example, I removed all names from the recording and tested it to confirm it was set properly, and it was. The next call reverted to the previous setting, and placed the names back on the recording.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's quick and easy to connect with many people in a short amount of time. It has replaced all in-person meetings and we've also created new works based completely around meeting via Zoom. In times were it is still a calculated risk to gather with others in a room, we've been able to continue production, rehearsal, and even some filming via Zoom. For one film, we recorded outside of Zoom but used the program to connect with talent on location in another state. The video call made it possible to work with the actor live, just like we were on set together.

Necessary Business Tool

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom allows me to expand my footprint- not only for clients but for staffing as well. I am no longer limited geographically by who I can serve and who I can hire to serve my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited access to LIVE support- I have not been able to get live people when I needed them. I would love to have a dedicated team member or team that I could call if I needed assistance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has solved the problem of PROXIMITY- no one is out of touch and no client is out of reach. We can put a person FACE TO FACE in a matter of moments and solve challenges more quickly, add valuable talent and keep the connection even when circumstances outside of our control throw a monkey wrench into the picture!
