Works as Advertised

What do you like best about the product?
It's fast and easy to use. Also, the reception and connection is exactly what we need for a productive meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like having to set the virtual background each time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can have virtual meetings with multiple, displaced individuals and all come together as if we are all in the same room.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the recording sessions, this way I can go back and review the meetings or the training session I have on zoom.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to put all the emails i want to include in the same area, I have to go from the calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By being able to share training videos with others in the organization. It saves us so much time.

Reliable, but unnecessary if you're a Microsoft house

What do you like best about the product?
It hardly ever fails or crashes. The interface is intuitive. The admin tool that consolidates all our company accounts is fine.
What do you dislike about the product?
Now that MS Teams has become a leading contender (it is just as reliable and easy to use), we use MS Teams a lot more than Zoom because MS Teams has become a central app that integrates with all the other essential apps our organization uses. Zoom continues to add functionality to Workplace, but nothing that MS doesn't already have. Microsoft, however, has greatly improved MS Teams. As a not-for-profit organization, it's very cost effective to take advantage of Microsoft's discounts. Zoom is just an unnecessary cost now.
Also, their billing services are the worst I've ever had to deal with. They used to be fantastic, but something has apparently happened with their success and growth. I found myself fighting with them for the past two years to undo a mistake they made (changing us to a more expensive version that we did not request). There was little response, and I followed their terms to submit a pre-arbitration demand. It was never completely resolved and we paid over $10K for a product we did not want. We are canceling our business licenses at the end of this agreement term and going back to the Pro version where the few users who use Workplace will expense it instead of us administrating it from IT.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a few users who are loyal to Zoom and resistant to trying MS Teams because when MS Teams was first released it was unstable. Zoom only causes problems now by dividing our users into two "camps" for video conferencing.

So easy and handy

What do you like best about the product?
I use Zoom for the groups that I run, classes I teach and for 1-2-1s, both professional and personal. I can arrange to meet with anyone anywhere in the world quickly and easily. With my paid account I can talk for as long as I like.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is the occasional inexplicable glitch although these are rare. They tend not to be Zoom's issue but a connection fault. There is very little to dislike with Zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom means that I can keep in touch with clients everywhere, jumping on at short notice or making appointments in advance. and with friends and family since I am not living in my home country.

What do you like best about the product?
It works exactly as I need with no problems or issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be slow or obtuse. The secondary launcher does not always sync up with my account on the website so I end up having to use the website to launch meetings every single time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can connect with my clients easily and reliably.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate and easy for others to access. Able to easily send links to people and invite to meetings
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features like adding meeting hosts to access settings would be great

The privacy and it is benefitting as we do screenings over zoom for children and families

Spotlight screen feature, great for teaching

Internet connections can be spotty, disruptive

I was able to offer quality art workshops even during the pandemic. Now I have students all over the world and thanks to Zoom I can continue offering workshops all over the world, from my home studio.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use makes it a no-brainer for every client of ours regardless of age.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing to dislike about zoom at the moment.

Commuting to work used to waste so much of our time. Now we use that time either for work or family.

Better than Everything Else!

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is by far the most user-friendly, straightforward video conferencing platform that I've had to use. I don't use in-office or native platforms if I can help it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial logging on can be a bit clunky and slow, and the in-meeting features like screen sharing could stand to be more intuitive, but they're no worse than other platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More than anything it saves time and travel when in-person meetings are not required-and most are not making the entire team more productive overall. Zoom is stress-reducer!

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is very reasonably priced for all the value and convenience it provides in hosting online meetings. The audio and video quality is very good on every device -- smartphone, laptop, tablet, desktop.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom has a ways to go in terms of security. Hence my former employer, one of the largest banks in the U.S., used GoToMeeting instead. I have been on numerous Zoom meetings that were bombed by racial slurs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a real estate investor. I use Zoom meetings to look at houses remotely. I host a monthly support group for landlords on Zoom that people really appreciate. I attend webinars via Zoom nearly every week.
