Zoom has been a lifesaver!
What do you like best about the product?
Connectivity and ease of use for our older members.
What do you dislike about the product?
The time limit for each meeting. There have been times that meetings may run over, but if it happens too frequently then you are billed at the premium tier rate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many of our older members cannot make it into the church for small groups, and Zoom has been able to bridge that gap.
Why fly when you can ZOOM
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use, and maneuver. You do not need to be a tech wiz, or IT person to locate and use the accessories. I like that it walks you through screen sharing and makes the process very simple to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only wish that it was more phone friendly, in terms of being able to view the entire participant gallery. It's not difficult to figure out but it takes a moment depending on the phone you have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use zoom for interviews, study groups, and church meetings. I like that I can record sessions for those who aren't able to join real time but still want to participate. And I like the flexibility of being able to do it anywhere, plane, car, office... you do not necessarily need to sitting in front of a desktop.

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use and has a lot of helpful features to ensure people can collaborate seamlessly. I especially like that it's a stand-alone app that keeps my browser free to multitask during meetings. This is one of the biggest flaws w/ google meet.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate how when I schedule a meeting it requires me to verify zoom w/ google to add it to my calendar. I always end up having to add the meeting manually which is a HUGE pain.
Also, if you don't have dual screens, you don't get to view your presentations in presenter mode, but i'm not sure if that's something that's possible to fix from the zoom side of the equation.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom makes it possible for me to work with anyone from anywhere. My entire business relies on this capability, so essentially, I wouldn't be able to do my job without zoom.
Zoom is the best video software I have used!
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is the most user-friendly video app that I have used! If anyone is using anything else it makes me question their backend. Skype is a sign of a company behind "behind" to me
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes- Zoom is incredibly organized and easy to use! I have had no issues with Zoom and have chosen to use to over every other software we have tried to use at our company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is user friendly and easy to send to other people, especially people who do not normally use zoom. They don't make others jump through hoops to experience their software.
Easy to use and ubiquitous
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to get people to join your meeting and start participating. The screen share works well and it's easy enough to instruct others how to participate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to figure out the audio of it changes on you. It seems to randomly assign new speakers and microphone and sometimes the only way to recover is to quit the application and start again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First calls with customers, onboarding new customers. Delivering just in time training. We rarely travel anymore and do most of our work with our customers via zoom.
Zoom is a must have for our collaboration with our clients
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has allowed us to run our business and collaborate with clients online for many years! We've been using Zoom since before the pandemic, enabling us to run a business virtually without needing to travel to meet our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
While we love Zoom, sometimes enabling the other apps we use can be a little glitchy. Which is likely not related to Zoom itself. So we often resort to sharing the screen of that app we want to use, instead of connecting it in real time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows us to run collaborative meetings with our clients and provide a recording for their reference. This also allows us to focus on engaging with our clients and listening to their needs instead of taking notes and losing track of our meeting goals. Having the recorded meetings have allowed us to prevent additional emails asking what the meetings covered, as we can use the recording for reference.

What do you dislike about the product?
st people can easily log on and immediately participate in a meeting. It's easy to understand. The ONLY things I routinely wish for is for the "blur" feature to have a better understanding of "ethnic"/non-straight hair lines and that there was a way to copy the chat's from the main room into the break-outs even if it's just a one-time-when-you-initially-go-into-the-rooms situation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nice to be able to see folks during meetings and to allow large groups to break off into independent sub-groups during meeting discussions.
Good, Flexible Video Conferencing Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is an easy-to-use video conferencing system for a participant. It's downloadable, has some built-in controls for screen sharing, and the paid version allows for larger groups. (Paid accounts also provide for longer meetings; if you're creating a meeting as a free user, you only get under 40 minutes of time). Zoom also allows for multiple sharing either via link, calendar, or other entry.
What do you dislike about the product?
One issue is that security has to be engaged at the back end, and those controls are hard to find. (I have been "Zoom bombed" twice before realizing that I could turn on authentication). Internal moderation is a bit confusing as, when I click on someone to "block" from the room, I get an email to follow up with and the resulting screenshot is not of the person misbehaving. Zoom is also very finicky when it comes to networks, as it will close on some networks and not others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a freelance consultant, I need a tool that allows me to contact and talk to clients with minimal fuss. I find Skype to be rather buggy, Teams needlessly complicated, and Google Meet only works if everyone is on the Google platform. Zoom allows me to schedule and invite people to meetings that save me time, effort, and money.
Surprisingly good
What do you like best about the product?
I find the breakout toom features to be one of the most useful features of Zoom. We provide technical support via Zoom, and having breakout rooms to deal with simultaneous visitors is really useful
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to have the auto-update feature switched on by default. I find that a lot of people solve their issues with Zoom once they update to the latest verion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom helps us to quickly connect with our end users. Without this, we would have to revert to physical phones and remote screen-sharing software. It makes my job a lot easier and more convenient
Great tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like these features of zoom - break out rooms, being able to allow specific attendees in the webinar, the ability to link to Google calendar, creating recurring meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Zoom Google calendar integration does not always work. In some instances when the webinar link is accessed from the Google calendar the link does not work and requires the host to logon to enter the webinar. This process should be seamless. The host should not have to logon to access the webinar and should be able to access the zoom link from the Google calender. Zoom should recognize that the user is the host.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to prevent unauthorized users from attending the webinar. The ability to record the webinars. Zoom allows our teams to collaborate with remote workers.
