A true blessing during COVID
What do you like best about the product?
We have been able to set up a church group with members literally from all over the world -- Australia, the UK, Saskatchewan, among others. During COVID this has been a spiritual lifeline, which continues even now.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not been able to coordinate music and singing in real-time, so any music has to be pre-recorded. We have also experienced audio issues in recording to the cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not aware of issues affecting me and my use of Zoom. The ease of use has been a definite advantage. I have also worked for an organization that holds regular webinars, and the various features Zoom offers, such as screen-sharing and polls, have been an excellent resource.
Zoom is an amazing vehicle to see friends, family and conduct business
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is user friends for all ages. Love ya ng filters to blend wrinkles, being able to edit titles, screen share and adjust lighting.

What do you dislike about the product?
Passwords.
Sometimes using zoom on different devices doesn't allow you to switch.
Sometimes if a meeting is already in progress it won't allow you to join - the message says "host has an other meeting in progress"

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since COVID, our business expanded 160% with ability to serve clients across North America from the comfort of our own homes. With the added option of wearing pants lol
Great for webinars, but poorly developed for hosting multiple events at one time
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use. There are frequent updates, and it works across almost all platforms. Almost everyone has used it, so it requires little support to get people into events.
What do you dislike about the product?
The account management is done poorly. One account can only host one event at a time, so to host up to 5 events, as we do, there must be 5 separate email addresses and all of those accounts controlled under a master account. It doesn't make much sense and we have to inform our support staff each day of which account to log in to, because no one of the other accounts can launch an event for the other accounts, even if they have admin privileges. I imagine that this would be a nightmare for a larger enterprise.
Now, they've imposed 2 factor authentication on new logins, which creates huge headaches because of the multi-account issue. My support people and the admin frequently can't get in to the zoom account because the 2 factor code is sent to me. There's no way to turn it off, so I must be available from very early morning until late evening in case someone can't get in. It's possible to add a person as a second host, but that is clunky, and my administrator often can't get in because she's in the Philippines.
All in all, for micro business, zoom is great. If you are doing the same things every day, like schools, it's probably also workable. Doing variably scheduled seminars? Try something else or pay $$ to have someone developed a better add on.

We needed to put thousands of students, from around the country and even the world, online. Zoom has been very stable for webinars.
Great tool for media and podcast users. Zoom saved us during the Covid Pandemic.

What was most helpful was being able to record both Audio and Video and us both for our various platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to upgrade and pay monthly for certain aspects of Zoom as we did for the Professional.

Zoom helped us to pivot toward growing our Small Media Company, Zoom helped us to grow from a local media to a global brand.
Fast, Efficient and Easy to use for employees and clients
What do you like best about the product?
Convenience and a platform that allows us to review drafts through screen share or record discussions which allow client to view again as needed at end of the meeting. Wonderful teaching tool as well for our case coaching.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there's connection issues which delay the start of a meeting. We have figured out that logging out and logging in by those joining will usually resolve the issue. Host has to be logged in first. Otherwise guests are stuck in limbo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing one attorney to meet a client who cannot travel to meetings. Allowing clients the option to go over draft documents through screen share and making real time edits to drafts.

What do you like best about the product?
Audio feature , video feature , feature to remove someone from meeting and the graphics are best secondly the smoothness of the app is ultimate thing aa compared to other platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime it is unable to connect even after having good internet connection so this is the most disappointing and most irritating thing which i personally dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is solving the most famous problem by interacting virtually so that we can connect with the clients and have their query solved for those who are so far away by presenting them all the data

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is quite easy to set up for use. The ability to schedule meetings ahead of time is extremely helpful. Customers also report ease of use on their end. Sometimes their connectivity is an issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using Zoom to teach classes and recording them for future reference at the level of Zoom we have contracted for is limited. I found out the hard way after 6 hours of recording only to find out only a portion of the class was actually recorded. New users often have navigation issues. It is sometimes difficult to assess these problems as there are various devices used in any given session.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I believe Zoom is continuously assessing ways to better serve customers. I don't have any specifics, however, they do distribute and notify us when there are updates. Whenever we encounter an issue during a broadcast, they do respond with advice.

What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to use that a novice user can easily use zoom. They just have to click a single link.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think they've fixed everything. It's a great product! I do wish they had an easy way to have subtitles show while people are speaking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a fully remote company, we have employees all over the place. Zoom allows us to conduct meetings with our team members. It also allows my salespeople to get more sales meetings in a day vs meeting in person.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy access; well supported by team at ZOOM; relatively easy to interact with meeting members; great alternative to save long distance travel cost and time. have also used MS teams and prefer ZOOM.
What do you dislike about the product?
Feedback can be an issue when people on the call fail to mute mics; it does not work well for sharing large room spaces or music; have struggled with hybrid meetings with an in-person group and a ZOOM group. This is an area that could be improved or greater guidance given for running hybrid meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not sure if it is in the works but the issues with hybrid meetings and music noted above would be helpful. A "How to" guide for running hybrid meetings would make it more productive for me.

What do you like best about the product?
On the go access, expands audience, increase attendance numbers, flexible scheduling, reduces venue costs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to tell the level of attention, motivate interaction. Frequent glitches or pauses to resolve technical issues ('where's the share button?'). Seems not all participants have access to all elements, so they're not used at all. Eg, 'raise hand' is apparently not accessible on all platforms, so it isn't used for voting. Instead Chat is used, which makes it cluttered.
