great HIPAA compliant telehealth option!
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is very easy to use, and the video quality is excellent compared to other video conferencing options. I also love the variety of features available, including the whiteboard, waiting room, and virtual backgrounds.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, people who are less comfortable with technology have a difficult time setting it up without help. Even if you use the link, you still need to download software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of people are familiar with the Zoom platform. It allows me to work virtually. I love the whiteboard and annotation features; they really help me interact more, especially when I was teaching classes using Zoom.

It is very easy to schedule meetings and to copy and share invitation. I like the chat room features and annotate feature the best

Sometimes it is hard to see other video screens when there are a lot of people. Also, sometimes the settings are hard to navigate

I have clients from all over the world. Zoom allows for face to face meetings when I can't meet in person

The ease in scheduling a meeting and sending the invites to partners and clients.

There are times connectivity is an issue, however, this is not Zoom's issue, this is an internet provider issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to meet with clients throughout the pandemic. Clients that distance was issue in receiving services are now able to be served. It has made a difference in many families' lives.

I really dislike when the band with lags and people have to sign off or shut off the camera in order for them to be heard

Most helpful feature is the "Support" button which allows you to provide support to a user in 2 easy clicks.
I use a multitude of meeting applications and always find Zoom is the one that always works for everyone.
My customers are always able to join a meeting and we rarely have any audio/video issues. Compared to
all the other major ones like Webex, gotomeeting, Teams it's so much simpler and easier for everyone to use.

What do you dislike about the product?
On a Mac it's annoying to have to go and change the security settings to make it work but that's strictly not unique to Zoom.
Integration with other email clients is not as good as it could be, I have to do a lot of copy/paste for links etc.
No way to paste in a code block in a chat when holding a meeting which makes copy/paste with chat of useful configuration, JSON etc. hard.

Staying Connected via Zoom
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has been a lifesaver throughout the past two and a half years (the Pandemic). We were able to continue connecting with team members and clients, so that work could continue seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, a new upgrade would make a change that wasn't apparent. Sometimes things may have moved or a new function was introduced but did not have adequate information about how to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows us to cross time zones and connect with people from literally around the world. This expands our reach tremendously! We have yet to maximize our potential, but Zoom is paving the way.
Zoom is constantly a lifesaver

Using zoom allows me to teach violin virtually AND I really like the options in the audio settings because my violin and my students' violins have good, clear sound.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like anyone else, I don't like the occasional dropped call. Also, sometimes I've experienced the zoom schedule on my phone and computer not linking for whatever reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I said before, the options in the audio settings allow me to enable original sound for my students and me. With these options the sound of my instrument doesn't cut out.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is very user-friendly, it does everything I need it to do. As an online teacher/tutor, there is no tool I recommend more. Parents who are skeptical about online sessions are surprised by how effective Zoom is as an educational tool. I. LOVE. ZOOM.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, Zoom is one of those rare apps that doesn't really have any downsides. It glitches every once in a while as all apps do, but I've noticed a remarkable lack of glitches since I started using Zoom a few years back. It is so intuitive, the only thing I notice is that sometimes I can't annotate on someone else's screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom frequently updates its program to fix glitches and improve things. The whiteboards use keyboard shortcuts and the new whiteboards are phenomenal. The new whiteboards make it easier to drag around drawings and even copy-paste problems, which is terrific.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to schedule calls and make changes in a regularly scheduled series of calls. I especially like the ease with which you can share screens and highlight speakers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a more automatic way to send calendar invites to participants. Otherwise, no negatives to report
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have worked via phone conferences for many years but it is much more satifying to be able to interact visually with my colleagues and share and edit materials on the screen

What do you like best about the product?
As a family law attorney, the show had to go on; especially with time-sensitive cases like child welfare. Zoom allowed courts to continue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like yoga pants, there are places where Zoom is appropriate and places where it is not. Evidence heavy trials; no. Routine hearings; yes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security was initially a serious issue; walking the line between public access to the Courts and confidentiality where needed. Zoom's work in that regard had made it possible for the Courts to use this tool even though most courtrooms are open.
