The best teleconference around
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy and fast, nearly everybody already has it or is willing to install it immediately.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limitations on the "free" version, and the cost for the lowest tier of paid version
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During the pandemic we were forced, as a population, that we need to do more to support remote meetings, Zoom helped us do that.
Virtual Meetings, Collaboration and Engagement
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility to start an instant meeting to quickly address issues, troubleshoot, collaborate and engage with peers/co-workers within a matter of minutes. My organization leverages Zoom to engage employees in fun events virtually creating employee engagement, teamwork and cultural recaps. We used Zoom prior to COVID and it was invaluable when everyone went remote. We continue to use it as one of our keep communication tools daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the ability to easily assign others to host an ad hoc meeting using the corporate account. At this time, we have one webinar account that is accessible only to the admin.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most important is the face-to-face meetings that allow us to engage with employees as if they were in the office sitting next to us. It is a unique way to build trust, teamwork and collaboration while being remote.
Zoom is great. It allows me to connect with clients is a very professional high quality manner!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you are able to record meetings, this offers a lot of value to clients & myself because we get to go back and review our meetings & prepare for up and coming ones.
What do you dislike about the product?
First off there are a lot of settings & you can only change them on the Zoom website & not directly inside the macOS app. I think a more welcoming design to the settings page would be helpful so that you are not overwhelmed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom helps me connect with clients that live in different countries, Zoom is very fast & does a great job at being a high-quality product.
Excellent in many ways ... a couple of tweaks would help.

Zoom group video layout makes for very good concensus team meetings!

What do you dislike about the product?
Chat and all popups are hard to make disappear, and tend to enable hitting a close that wants to close the whole zoom session instead. I believe this needs to be fixed! It would be absolutely best if the popup button (e.g., chat) was a toggle thus a 2nd press would disappear the chat ... same for participants, etc. Also, there needs to be a top header button to hide ... instead one must select the down menu, then close which is extra work and makes one focus off the meeting.

We have very effective consensus team meetings with Zoom!
I Finally Landed on the Winner
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom keeps adding great things. The AI assistant is the best ever. I use it almost daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their new email is a bit wonky and I cant find an easy way to switch back to Outlook for invites

Zoom allows me to meet with both clients and suppliers I would have normally flown to prepandemic.
Ease for international co-workers.
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy being able to hear and see the person I am meeting with, usually multiple times per week. I also like being able to share my screen during a meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally it can be difficult to change settings when meeting with different people. Things like sharing settings, etc. are sometimes difficult to access while in a meeting or when meeting from a phone. I wish there was a whiteboard feature for easy note-taking and brain-storming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to have beneficial meetings with people who are not in the same office as I am. It creates opportunities for brainstorming, impromptu calls when assistance is needed, and I can easily share what I am currently working on through the screen share feature.
I prefer Zoom over other platforms
What do you like best about the product?
I never have problems with Zoom that I often experience with Teams and Webex. I like the blurred background feature too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had been able to use a picture background for a while but then some update happened and I can only blur my background now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am so much more productive being able to have remote meetings instead of driving an hour plus each way for in person meetings, and it's much easier to coordinate for everyone.
Still Useful and Stress-Free for Groups
What do you like best about the product?
The new access tools and controls allow for better group conversations than previous programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
My previous issues with audio quality have been addressed. As of this review, I have no additional complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has helped me set up a virtual meeting and recording system that is easily approachable and usable by multiple parties who are unable to meet in person either due to location or availability.

The speed and ease of connection, the display options, the chat and screen share facilities and the many opportunities to learn more and more via the live courses Zoom offers
What do you dislike about the product?
The sound interference and high frequency feedback I get if I open two devices when I am teaching my yoga classes, even when sound is turned down on one of the devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to start teaching from my living room during Covid and have now included online classes
as well as in person classes permanently. This means I now have a convenient alternative if there are ever problems with venues, for example unexpected closures. It also means that class members can have options that were not available before.

Business Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
That it is easy to use and not difficult for nontechnical people to log in and get the hang of. I have been able to change the way that our company does onboarding training and getting our new hires started. We used to have to have all of our new hires travel hours on end to stay in our area for a week at a time away from their everyday life and spend a lot of money and time to do so.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I cannot have two zooms going at the same time. If I am doing training and then pass the baton to one of our other trainers, then I have a meeting to get on while he is training, I cannot get in because he is using my zoom account. I do not want to have all of the trainees log out and log in to a new zoom. It would make us seem unorganized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The trainees do not have to travel so far to be able to attend the required training to be able to start working with us. It has saved a lot of time for everyone. Made prepping for training a lot easier on my team and everyone can do it from the comfort of their home without having to spend any money to get the training.
