    Professional Training & Coaching

a perfect tool for my business

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom makes it easy for me to conduct my meetings by offering a way to enhance my clients' experience, whether it is by how simple it is to share a screen or sound, the way to blur my background or cancelling out noise.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frequent updates are a bit interruptive sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistent quality of video conferencing
An easy way to share my screen or sound
A way to talk to multiple people at a time
A way to maintain my privacy (by using background features)
A way to take trainings, asking questions, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the options. I didn't know this till recently but there are many zoom apps you can download and use that are super helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were free for over 40 minutes. And sometimes I have trouble arranging the breakout rooms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great to have a personal link. I hold my meetings as well as my workshops on zoom.

Zoom: Educating Young Scholars

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about zoom is the quality of the platform: I can always see, hear, and draw easily on the virtual whiteboard for my tutoring students. It's also reliable; I've never had to cancel an appointment due to technical issues. Lastly, it's extremely user-friendly for both adults and students alike--even students as young as four who are learning to read online. Ultimately, it's an incredible piece of technology that allows me to operate my tutoring company LaurelAcademics.org from home and help kids all over the world.
What do you dislike about the product?
The webinar features are not immediately user-friendly; however, this grew easier over time. Additionally, The scheduling features can be frustrating, especially when you're trying to schedule a recurring meeting but on multiple days (ie, a meeting that occurs every Monday and Wednesday would have to be set up as two different meetings, etc.). I also the platform offered more webinars, focused on how to innovatively use zoom in new, inspired ways.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows me to help All demographics of students, from those who struggle in school to those who excel and desire deeper opportunities to learn. I can teach from home, on my schedule, and across the world, which is very convenient and fulfilling.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy and seamless it is, and all the features it has.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to see the options and features your specific account has at any time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to meet with people both for business and pleasure all over the workd. From work meetings to chats with my students and birthday parties for friends, Zoom has done it all!

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is pretty user-friendly, especially for people using a computer; screen sharing is great; the chat is also a very helpful tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
We work with many community members who do not have access to a computer and zoom can be more difficult to use on a smartphone and stay engaged during a meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization uses Zoom for weekly staff meeting since our team members live in different cities. Zoom also allows us to schedule appointment virtually with clients who are unable to travel to one of our offices for services.

Saves so Much Time

What do you like best about the product?
Very stable and easy to use. Many have used it during the Covid lockdown, so there is very little need to train people on how to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
No issues at this time. From the many updates, they seem to be fixing bugs that show up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to make initial sales calls quickly and cheaply to prequalify the customer. More appointments in less time increase our ROI. We also use it to support our clients without needing to make onsite visits.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom overhaul has the best video quality and stability of any of the major video conference platforms that I've used. It's clean and easy
What do you dislike about the product?
It's definitely painful to have to buy a license for each user on my team, and sometimes the constraints around having only one meeting at a time can be painful. The security settings (eg, passcode vs not, new room for each meeting, etc) are also tricky to navigate
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use zoom mainly for customer-facing meetings (e.g., sales, customer success, partner support) to ensure that we are putting our best foot forward in a remote-first world

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is simple to use whether scheduling as a host or logging in as a guest. The icons make it easy to share a screen and change views based on group size and dynamics.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike about zoom - it has always functioned well and I prefer it over webex. It might be nice to be able to set up a call as a host and assign a host before the call so they group can get started if the host is running late. Maybe this feature exists and I just have not found it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom continues to keep me connected with groups of people in multiple locations so we can stay focused on our goals. It is far more efficient to hold meetings via zoom than in person also.

Zoom Meetings for Art workshops

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy to use and navigate. I run workshops mostly for retired folks who need a little help sometimes getting going, but it has been easy to coach them. We use the recording function regularly (to the cloud) and students are happy to have recordings to download and save. Using zoom enabled the teaching team to work from home during the pandemic. Students save money by being able to enjoy a live workshop experience without the cost or hassle of travel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I have a paid account, customer service is difficult. I wish I could speak to someone live, by phone, when I have a question.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is enabling us to continue to provide live instruction when travel became prohibitive. Now that travel requirements have eased, we plan to continue to use Zoom for workshops

Ease of use & commonly used

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Zoom because most of my professional network uses it -- so I don't have to worry about most folks not having the app to use (which isn't always the case for competitors like Microsoft Teams, Skype, etc.). The features are user-friendly, and have improved a lot over the last couple of years. I especially like that you can choose to automatically record specific Zoom meetings -- that way I don't forget to record important calls!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't experienced too many issues with Zoom as of late. I do wish that it was easier/clearer in Chat feature to direct message individual participants (it's way too easy to send a DM to the entire chat accidentally.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is solving the problem of working remotely with distributed teams. I like that we can have a call AND create break-out rooms very easily -- it's one of my favorite features in Zoom that makes it more personal/interesting in a meeting.
