A great web conferencing solution!

  • August 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Zoom makes web conferencing easy. We send out a link and everyone can join quickly and easily. I also love that there are features that let you do breakout rooms and hold surveys. It improves the engagement of people who are on the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only qualm with Zoom is that sometimes it will mute someone if they are talking at the same time as another person. It doesn't feel like a completely natural conversation when that happens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of our company is remote. Zoom allows us to all connect as a team. We hold weekly team meetings where the whole purpose of the meeting is connection. We discuss very little work and just get to meet as a team. Zoom helps us to facilitate this connection.

Zoom helps me connect virtually to my clients globally!

What do you like best about the product?
When I'm teaching a workshop I have the option for my students to go into breakout rooms to practice which is so helpful to them. It is one of my favorite features.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little that I dislike about Zoom. I would say that it would be great to have the link customized just a little bit more and super concise like @zoomlink.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest solution is being able to connect with people globally. I didn't realize how much I would need to have my business become virtual and it is so helpful for my clients.

What do you dislike about the product?
I found it a bit hard to figure out the share screen options at first.

Distance and scaling my business. I can attend seminars and workshops online and I use it for community calls and 1:1 sessions.

Never Missed A Beat With Zoom

  • August 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
* Ease of operation
* Zoom is always getting better, improvements are being made and user input is heard and implemented
*Ability to make recurring meetings & restrict access
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm cheap. I don't like paying for access each year, I'd be more interested if there were a 5-year or a lifetime license. Possibly a per meeting charge might be a more agreeable option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom provides almost immediate parent conferences. Email is so impersonal, but with Zoom they know my face when we see each other in the community. Zoom is bringing the digitally disconnected away from the text screens and back together.

My go to virtual meeting solution

  • August 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Perhaps the most helpful thing about Zoom is its ubiquity. At this point in our post pandemic, remote work first workforce, almost everybody has it so it makes it really easy to share links and add people to meetings quickly. Its ubiquity has also allowed it to be seamlessly integrated with a number of third-party platforms and programs, such as Google calendar, making it effortless to add a zoom meeting to a calendar invite for internal or external invitees.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface does leave room to be desired especially when you are the meeting host. If you are a meeting host and doing any kind of presentation or webinar, it's practically requires you to have to monitors in order to effectively deliver your presentation and have a sense of what's going on with your participants.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom makes it possible for me to meet with anybody from around the world at basically anytime from the convenience of my computer. I can be more easily connected with a wider network of people I otherwise wouldn't have been able to without zoom.

Effective communication tool that is always evolving

  • August 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Zoom, and why my company standardized on it is the quality of the video. Choppy video and sound can be distracting, especially in larger groups and having good quality meeting time is important.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some small quirks are annoying but not overly apparent. Things like video not stating when it should or vice versa. The other thing I dislike but have gotten used to is integration with OneDrive or Google Drive that MS Teams seems to do very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is going a long way to help us work remotely both with telecommuting users that have started to stay home more often. And it has allowed us to expand the reach of our recruiting efforts. Some of the newer features of zoom like the collaborative whiteboards have enabled us to be more effective in virtual meetings.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is user-friendly, has the ability to integrate with other applications, uploads recordings right away, and is affordable. We use it specifically for training and it's just seamless!
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't experienced anything we do not like about Zoom. Sometimes the application will randomly shut done but these things happen. It doesn't change how we feel how Zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Honestly, we use Zoom for training, events, and meetings. We have members all over the US so it helps us connect with them no matter where they are at...and it saves our members money and ours too!

What do you dislike about the product?
Frankly there are no downsides that I have experienced over the past few years. I formerly used a Microsoft that always seemed to fail
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration with co workers and also remote meetings and presentations for my organization. It's a huge blessing to have a person from Cambodia and a church in Kansas meet real time with me in FL!

Zoom is our Go To Software for Virtual Meetings

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly and versatile. People who don't have strong internet connections can connect via phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the pricing of add-ons can be a bit expensive for small nonprofits that don't have larger budgets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to connect with more customers and stakeholders and it has saved us on travel costs.

Easy to use and good performance

  • August 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Even non-technical users seem to have no problem using it. Other services I often have to do a lot of hand-holding and tech support to get people up and running.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I first started using Zoom, they made some security updates (requiring a password for the meeting participants) that were rolled out with limited notice and it caused some problems with our user base. But since then, we've not have any significant issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it at our church to provide streaming services for members who are not able to be in attendance physically. Also, we use it for convenience for some church meetings during the week.
