Zoom saved my Private Practice during the Covid Lockdown
What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to schedule an appointment with a client, email them the link and the platform works great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally either my client or I freeze up and we have had to switch to a phone session. I blame this on my client's bad reception, not Zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Even though the Covid lockdown is over and I am seeing clients in person again, many of my clients have decided to continue using Zoom as it's more convenient. With other clients, we do both in person and Zoom depending on what works best that week. Also, I can take working vacations and still see clients!
Highly functional for teaching and meetings
What do you like best about the product?
All of the features that make it a dynamic experience like the whiteboard, share screen, breakout rooms, and remote control.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been on Zoom calls that get "bombed" with people that should not have been there. I imagine using a password would help discourage that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meeting with my team, clients, and students since I moved out of state and now work mostly remotely.
Excellent and much needed.
What do you like best about the product?
This bridged a huge gap when connecting with current and potential clients during and post COVID lockdown. This was also fairly easy for clients to operate even if they were not technology savvy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Did not really come across downsides to using zoom. Maybe initially that people were hacking into meetings, but putting passcodes resolved this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During the pandemic lockdown, I was able to continue business as usual due to my ability to continue to meet with them virtually in addition to meeting new referrals.
Very useful tool for business and personal meetings
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom allows me to connect with clients across the globe, quickly and easily. It has expanded our ability to support clients wherever they are.
What do you dislike about the product?
The break-out room and whiteboard features could be more user-friendly. New features aren't always easiest to discover.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows me to connect with my staff, stakeholders and clients, and share information, without have to be in-person.
Zoom helps us accomplish our tasks.....fast!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to connect with colleagues or customers within a private, secure space makes problem-solving capabilities unmatched. The integrations with other software we use also makes it easier to accomplish the task in a streamlined fashion.
What do you dislike about the product?
If Zoom was able offer filters for users to view participants (those on video vs. those not sharing video), that would make it nice for the host to connect with those who are "physically" there. Reading the body language of users is still the best way to communicate and the video functionality advancements could only help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With a completely remote company, it is important to be able to connect and collaborate in a safe, secure space. Zoom gives us the ability to do this as well as make sure everyone has access (free basic plans) as opposed to charging per user.
Zoom is a lifesaver!
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to be face to face with colleagues while miles away is my favorite benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside was not having a premium account. The 40 minute sessions were not long enough, so I upgraded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is keeping me connected to my team on the other coast. We can have round tables and training sessions without trying to travel in this crazy climate, and possibly get stuck in an airport.
Strong but not perfect
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom makes meetings easy. It supports scheduling through outlook. It is somewhat easy to use in the direct computer connection. The use of waiting rooms and screen sharing is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limited options available on the phone app. For example, you cannot assign a cohost of you use the app. Additionally, if you dismiss aparticipant, there is no way to get them back into the meeting.,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling meetings has been made easier. Preventing travel costs and "seeing" each other is valuable for us during the pandemic. The ability to access Zoom without downloading is greatly appreciated.
Zoom has been great for my business
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has been great for interviewing potential staff members, and has allowed me to do a second interview with my current staff and the potential hiree. It's been convenient and an even better system than having candidates come in to the office twice or more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issues we have had have been with connection issues with some of the staff. However, this is not a Zoom issue, it's a personal connection issue. So Zoom itself can't be blamed, but it does make things difficult for some of my rural staff with poor connection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is making hiring new staff much, much more convenient. It also makes it so that I can involve my entire Team in the second interview process, without having to have everyone come down to the office during their off time. This helps me make better hiring decisions, and get info from my existing staff. This improves relations with my staff, new and existing!
Life changing for my business
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to sign on from mobile device and PC. Easy to customize zoom IDs and set up invites. The whiteboard option is so efficient. I've used other platforms but they are either not as commonly used or a software needs to be downloaded.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor connectivity issues rarely and sometimes when I have too many programs open, it shuts down due to low memory.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom helped me to change my business operations entirely but allowing me to meet clients during the pandemic without having to travel to meet face to face. I run a nationwide business and this was a life changer. More so because now the clients are used to it. And we continue to do so even after the pandemic.
Zoom is the modern-day, much needed better version of Skype!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, easy to launch and host a video call. I love using the recording function! I've been using Zoom regularly for over five years in my business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downsides of using Zoom: not everyone knows how to use all of its functionality so I find that I frequently am helping people on how to use functionality (from the basics to advanced)

Reliable, consistent platform when it comes to audio and video connection for meeting with business contacts and clients (and friends and family!)
