Easy way to send emails
What do you like best about the product?
I like the various options how to implement. From SMTP to modern API. Management of users, campaigns and stats, it's all there
What do you dislike about the product?
Missing some basic features like dynamic forms to get subscribers. But this is not a critical. It's simple to create own workaround.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm sending hundreds of emails a day with order or payment confirmations, invoices etc., pllus monthly newsletters. To create and maintain own server that will not be compromised or blacklisted it's very difficult. Sendgrid is providing solution for me.
SendGrid: Long Overdue Solution for Us
What do you like best about the product?
There are a number of strong features in SendGrid. The top two we probably benefit from the most are the API and the reporting. The API makes it simple for our SaaS platform to send e-mails - both from our system to clients, and from our system on behalf of clients (e.g. marketing e-mails). And the API is simple to use and can be integrated in a matter of hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
The last I reviewed their features, the tools they provide to manage sub-users could be more well developed. We create sub-users to represent each of our clients so that we can track their activity separately. Note: the sub-user feature may be more developed now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are a number of ways to send e-mail messages programatically. But SendGrid gives our messaging efforts and sound structure. But probably the greatest benefit is the reporting. Tracking things like e-mail opens and bounces takes a lot of development time. SendGrid takes care of these issues for you - allowing you to focus on your core business objectives.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
To be honest, I am not familiar with all of competing products on the market - I know there are at least a couple that would probably give SendGrid strong competition. But we have felt that SendGrid provides good value for money, has helped us reduce development time in regard to messaging, and intend to continue working with their platform.
Best Email Service Provider Out There
What do you like best about the product?
- It will greatly increase your Email Deliverability.
- Very easy to use and configure. Has a very good User Interface.
- I use it for sending out Email Marketing Campaigns for many restaurateurs and retailers.
- It is very easy to use and has extensive APIs.
- It has a very good and prompt Customer Service. I have always had my queries/issues resolved at the earliest in a Chat session

What do you dislike about the product?
Right now I am not using their marketing campaign API to send out email marketing campaigns, instead I use their default email sending API since Marketing campaign API is a very big hassle.
Also Lack of an alternative to webhooks is a catch here but I guess their Tech Team will soon develop something.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We send out Email Marketing Campaigns based on Retargeting to get conversions for our clientele who are basically mid and large size restaurateurs and retailers in India.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you can afford it, Don't think, just go for it. It will be the best pick of all the Email Providers since they have a very dedicated team of Customer Service, they will respond to all your queries and get you up and running in a jiffy.
SendGrid Makes Creating Email Marketing Campaigns Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Sendgrid has so many functions available and is quite easy to use, even for beginners. Whether you're sending a monthly newsletter or weekly email campaigns, SendGrid has what you need to create and replicate your templates, upload your email lists, and check stats after sending your campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
For someone who isn't at all familiar with html, creating or modifying some aspects of the email campaigns can be a bit challenging. I've also experienced troubles when it comes to emails getting clipped even when test-emails don't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SendGrid has allowed us to condense our email efforts into less programs because of the different options in SendGrid. Since the platform is easy to use, just about anyone on the team can go in and use it.

Take your time exploring the platform first before starting to send out email campaigns. You may discover functions that are useful along the way, so don't be scared to click on anything.

Precise and fast enough for registration flows for an app.

Warming IP is a big issue at the begining if you join from another platform.

Registration, recovery flows and not only.

What do you like best about the product?
Integrates easily with a variety of tools. I like the support prompt reply with detailed solution for the problem so far best support received. Its easy to use with great amount of flexibility

similar pricing to MailChimp, reporting has been changed to 3days and unsubscribed is only given to preferred unsubscribed option, it was misprinted in the documented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Used for our monthly and weekly newsletters and also for self promotion of the products with transnational mails are amazing

What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely easy to get up and running. The transactional email template generator is nice too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was a really simple way for testing purposes to send all emails to a test email or something like mailinator.

Sendgrid does exactly what it is meant to do at a reasonable price.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't been able to figure out sending attachments, through attachment links are pretty straightforward to do with a mail merge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Was able to set up a single transactional email/template for all asset downloads. This is a huge time savings.

Through our years of doing business with SendGrid, we have no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business has been using the SendGrid Email API in our CRM/E-Marketing products for 5+ years now. The reason we chose SendGrid was because of its scalability and ease of integration. Our clients love the deliverability of both their transactional and deployment emails (for which we use the handy substitution tags feature). We also find the detailed reports very useful (e.g., opens, link clicks, and for undelivered emails, we can see why they failed, are they hard vs. soft bounces, etc.).

If you're a developer looking for a reliable email API to integrate with your product, or if you're a business looking for an affordable, trusted solution to improve the deliverability of your emails, I urge you to consider SendGrid.
My experience with Sendgrid
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to change to anything without our domain is very useful in sending out targetted campaigns. But the dedicated IP provided for us helped improve our overall deliverability. This helped us reach out to more of our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to reach a few emails through sendgrid that are accessible through other ESPs. This puts us in a position to have to bring on multiple ESPs to solve our deliverability issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem that we're solving is being able to reach out to a number of users at a time. This has helped us solve a number of logistical issues.
