We love sendgrid
What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely easy to get up and running. The transactional email template generator is nice too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was a really simple way for testing purposes to send all emails to a test email or something like mailinator.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sendgrid does exactly what it is meant to do at a reasonable price.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't been able to figure out sending attachments, through attachment links are pretty straightforward to do with a mail merge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Was able to set up a single transactional email/template for all asset downloads. This is a huge time savings.

The ease of integration, thorough API documentation, very friendly and helpful support team.

Through our years of doing business with SendGrid, we have no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business has been using the SendGrid Email API in our CRM/E-Marketing products for 5+ years now. The reason we chose SendGrid was because of its scalability and ease of integration. Our clients love the deliverability of both their transactional and deployment emails (for which we use the handy substitution tags feature). We also find the detailed reports very useful (e.g., opens, link clicks, and for undelivered emails, we can see why they failed, are they hard vs. soft bounces, etc.).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're a developer looking for a reliable email API to integrate with your product, or if you're a business looking for an affordable, trusted solution to improve the deliverability of your emails, I urge you to consider SendGrid.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to change to anything without our domain is very useful in sending out targetted campaigns. But the dedicated IP provided for us helped improve our overall deliverability. This helped us reach out to more of our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to reach a few emails through sendgrid that are accessible through other ESPs. This puts us in a position to have to bring on multiple ESPs to solve our deliverability issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem that we're solving is being able to reach out to a number of users at a time. This has helped us solve a number of logistical issues.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been with Sendgrid for quite a few years. Always dependable and does everything I want.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a small business like myself, using Sendgrid with a dedicated IP (to build a trustworthy delivery history) and more than 30 days the service is expensive given the volume of email I send. That said, it's important enough that I don't skimp and pay what I have to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dependable delivery of email via an API used in all my projects.
I use SendGrid to send out my email campaigns and measure success on my email broadcasts.

What do you like best about the product?
It 'just works' and has transparent pricing that we can rely on. As a basic transactional email provider they are great but where sendgrid really shines is when you start using some of the more advanced features like email templates and marketing. We send 50k to 100k+ transactional emails each month with no issues at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support responses are a bit 'canned' when there are platform issues and sometimes the transactional template index gets out of sync and can be difficult to deal with but this is rare and eventually, platform issues resolve. We are probably just catching the tail end of software updates when we see things like this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the sendgrid email api for 3 purposes:
1) Transactional emails from all of our tools
2) Templates with dynamic variables. This allows all of our tools to share the same transactional library of emails. Makes maintenance and expansion super easy.
3) Localized emails: since you can have so many email templates we use this to send localized emails to our users. This has really increased click-through for us since much of our audience is global.

Beware, they were recently purchased by another company and that can spell the end of this service.
Excellent customer support for all levels of marketers
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to reach assistance, patient and problem solving support staff. User friendly UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a big fan of the knowledge base library, here or really anywhere. I much more prefer one on one assistance, whether via chat, phone or email (email support least preferred).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to designate email sent from our customers account. The benefits that I have realized are that I can monitor the production of our customers and through the BCC use of our product to their customers.

What do you like best about the product?
Sendgrid does exactly what it says it will do. The user interface is user friendly and is accomodating even with a large number of features/services available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. We are very happy with this service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We went to sendgrid after having deliverability problems with our email. Along with providing a great service, the support materials are good and allowed us to do a lot of learning on our own. Those times we needed help we were able to get great support, both online and via phone. I also like the flexibility of the system and the features they provide. We also looked at Mailgun but the feature set for Sendgrid was better for us.
Easy to Implement, Simple to Use, Effective
What do you like best about the product?
Simple and Effective. Our services are dependant on SendGrid email and it has worked flawlessly. Great work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like is not being able to see the history for more than 1 month. I understand there are limitations and also we could keep our own history.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We heavily rely on sending alarms via email to our customers. We need something that works all the time and SendGRID is great.

Great product, would not consider anything else at the moment.
