Good platform for project documentation
What do you like best about the product?
The simple interface, possibility to embedd documents, link with Jira
What do you dislike about the product?
The limit on file size, the hierarchy of pages can be confusing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I can get work done with my team faster
What do you like best about the product?
I think the Confluence system is easy to use. The software design is simple and intuitive for all types of people. When we want to bring lots of people in to collaborate on something, it's really important that everyone can use it easily. I think that the real-time nature of getting updates and being able to communicate helps us all to be on the same page every step of the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there are certain aspects of designing our initial project page that can be hard to do. Getting projects off the ground isn't as straightforward as a typical chatting solution since we need to create a format that works well for given projects moving forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
People that I work with are able to join in on discussions on their own time so that we can get projects moving forward at a pace that suits everyone's schedule. You don't have to schedule an appointment where we actually have to be there and respond to comments. We can take time to think about comments before saying anything.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Confluence is good to use if you want to create a more custom collaboration interface.
Easy to use collaboration software
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about confluence is its dynamic ability to create multiple pages with ability to insert tables, create task on team members, apply filters on tabels etc. Ability to create documents and download in word is big plus point. Users can even create flow charts just like MS Visio. It is a complete package to manage team and also create documents thus reducing dependence on ms word and ms visio.
What do you dislike about the product?
One particular thing to point out is when a page has too much data conference starts hanging. Sometimes unble to save data. Also it doesn't offer a lot of formatting features as available in MS word. When we try to copy paste data from word to confluence we face issue with numbering. Numbering doesn't get copied correctly. There are some bugs like when we create a filtered page it shows data for only first 40 records. Overall if confluence to handle more data just like ms word on a page i will give it a 9.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before confluence we were unable to keep track of our pending tasks and we were making documents in ms word and flow chart in ms visio and then copy paste flow chart in ms word. Now we do all these centrally in confluence and we everyday review team tasks.
Team Tool for everyone
What do you like best about the product?
simple yet very feature reach environment for teams (small or enterprise size)
What do you dislike about the product?
you choose to go BIG > make sure you can afford it...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We managed to consolidate all notes in one place and have them to hand when required for all our development needs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very good and cheap for a small starter team with room to grow.
Very nice tool for team collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence provides a workspace for the team to collaborate and share information.
You can create workspaces and then add pages and document any information like study material, project information, meeting notes, personal notes etc.
For projects, the overview and go-by study material can be kept and thus, can be seen by anyone in the team whenever required.
You can create nested pages i.e. page trees to store information in a hierarchical way.
You can like or comment on any stuff or page.
Analytics are generated for each page to see how many people viewed the page and how many times etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about confluence except there could be functionality to add To-do lists.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Out team is using confluence for sharing critical information about the project so that all team members can be up-to-date and any new members can get first hand information about the project at a secure place.
Confluence allows all type of content on a page, be it text or images or charts, tables etc. This makes pages very interactive and easy to go through.

Confluence - excellent wiki tool
What do you like best about the product?
Look n feel and alerts.
Easy to locate discussions and qna.
Easy to locate discussions and qna.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to customize. Does have customization features but needs technical expertise to to be able to yse that
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowledge management. More lika a Q&a forum
Great for organising and sharing work
What do you like best about the product?
It’s a very visual layout that allows you to see all your work in one place. It also makes cross team collaboration really easy. It’s very intuitive and user friendly
What do you dislike about the product?
To customise it it does require some effort and research - developers and more technology savvy people will be better at this
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating work and sharing it with colleagues virtually. This is particularly important at the moment when we are all working remotely and struggling to collaborate
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be open minded and creative in how you use it and you’ll get more out of it
Great tool for Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
We use this for our Safe Agile process, best parts are shared calendars, Sprint Retrospective boards, Additional documentation for Feature refinement. Confluence is easily one of the tabs I refuse to close, since I need it on a daily basis. The seamless linking with Jira is very helpful, makes juggling tickets/epics/features much easier to tag notes and plan out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Interface is not super intuitive. I sometimes lose my place, or can't find my way back to the calendar I was looking for or the Retro board I needed to be in. This is something that could be a "me" thing, where I just need to spend more time digging in and getting comfortable navigating my way around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we solve is a very collaborative calendar to help our technical teams coordinate various environments. This makes sure one team isn't trying to update or modify an environment while another is doing a hot fix or setup work. Since I am the non technical person, the calendar lays it all out in a linear fashion that helps anyone and everyone know what is going on and when. Super beneficial.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take your time, get comfortable, share and start collaborating
The most flexible and easy to use tool for collaboration on documentation
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and most of all the insane amount of customisability through all the add-ons
What do you dislike about the product?
With a lot of customisability also comes a lot of training and customising. But this is only limited to the amount you choose yourself
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team and company wide collaboration on documentation
Confluence optimizing our teamwork
What do you like best about the product?
The software can be used from any device, deployments are installed and available in Android, iOS and the Cloud. Confluence keeps you informed about the latest developments because it offers the ability to follow wiki spaces and specific authors. It offers your team calendars and notifications about updates to the project they are working on together. Optimizes our teamwork by providing the option to share the progress of your tasks with them and reach new conclusions and strategies in a group setting
What do you dislike about the product?
Budget management and portfolio management are some of the functions that are not available in project management software. Not all administrators or users have the ability to structure content to edit web designs. A high level of knowledge is required with Confluence to understand specific functions such as permission models.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business marketing campaigns have been improved using Confluence, we have gained more customers and more revenue since then. The editor has been very easy to use and there are excellent plug-ins for exporting PDF documents. It has helped us to become more united with our clients on documentation projects and to document company procedures.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Project management could be more equipped with features such as a customer portal and Kanban board. A real-time chat would speed up communication between users and customers. The design of the platform could be improved, placing more eye-catching and colorful icons. These are just small tips because I don't see anything significant negative
