What I like most about Confluence is how easy it is to use and set up. The interface is clean, so creating and organizing pages feels effortless. it offers a good number of useful features and integrates smoothly with tools like Jira and Slack, which keeps everything connected. I use it often it document processes and share updates, and the support and resource available makes the experience even better. Overall, It's simple yet powerful tool for team collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, Confluence can feel a bit slow when loading large pages or attachments. The search features could also be more accurate, It sometimes takes extra effort to find older documents. Apart from that, the permission settings can get little confusing when managing access for multiple teams. However, these are minor issues compared to the overall ease and usefulness of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence has solved the problem of scattered and inconsistent documentation within our team. It provides a single, organized space where everyone can create, update, and access information easily. This has reduced dependency on emails and chat threads for sharing updates. It’s also improved collaboration, multiple people can work on the same page and track changes in real time. Also the great feature of Jira integration is very useful as i can link any ticket with its related documentation on confluence. Overall, it helps me save time, stay aligned with the team, and maintain clear, up to date project documentation.

What do you like best about the product?
The powerful search features are a major advantage, especially when combined with how easy it is to set up new pages using the many built-in components such as tables, frames, and sections.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI/UX could benefit from some updates and enhancements to achieve a more modern appearance. Additionally, having AI functionalities integrated would be a significant advantage.

We use Confluence as our team's centralized documentation tool. We write documentation for everything related to our team's ways of working, as well as for ongoing feature work.

What do you like best about the product?
We have implemented Confluence on our premises, and it serves as our primary tool for collaboration, documentation, and sharing news and announcements at the company level. It is quite user-friendly, making it easy to store documentation, specifications, and meeting notes. In short, you can rely on it for all your daily tasks. Multiple users can work on the same pages, leave comments, and edit content without any issues, as version history is tracked in the background. This means you don’t have to worry about losing valuable data or information. Confluence also offers a variety of useful templates and macros that help users set up pages efficiently. We use Confluence daily because it is our main platform for sharing news, events, and company-related information. Integration with Jira is straightforward. Since Confluence is a paid service, their customer support is quite responsive and helpful.

For non technical users especially the number of features, macros, settings, and structure can be overwhelming. With a lot of content many pages, images macros, etc, page loads or search can become slow from time to time.As any other software the pricing is quite an issue, but if you need more users the base cost will raise.

Best tool for collaboration and documentation

  • October 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence acts as a central source of truth for all our project-related information. We rely on it to document both the technical and functional details of our projects. Tracking changes is straightforward, and uploading files for future reference is hassle-free. The integration with tools such as Jira, GitHub, and others works seamlessly. Organizing test strategies, plans, cases, and reports is made simple by the page hierarchy feature. Customer support is responsive and helpful. The tool is easy to implement, and we use it daily for documentation, reference, and obtaining approvals. Its integration with intelligent AI agents also allows us to quickly find documents and get answers as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since we work with thousands of pages, searching by keywords often produces a lot of irrelevant results. The software also offers only basic advanced formatting options, which can be limiting. Additionally, creating complex tables and writing intricate mathematical equations is quite challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit for me is how easy it is to add and organize all our project details and documents in one central location. This is particularly valuable since we work closely with clients. We can create detailed pages that cover every functional and technical aspect of a project. Sharing project files, such as mockups or requirement documents for client approval, is then simple and efficient. In my QA role, Confluence is indispensable because it allows me to organize test strategies, plans, and cases with ease. I can set up a dedicated QA section to outline the entire testing lifecycle. We also document important meeting notes and key points, making it easy to refer back to them later. The integration with Jira enables us to link issues like bugs, stories, and epics effortlessly. Product owners can access our QA reports in Confluence, complete with embedded links to all relevant bugs and stories. Intelligent AI agents further help us save time by assisting with repetitive tasks, such as searching documents using keywords.

Confluence can be your single source of truth for documentation

  • October 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is very power, diverse, easy to use, very easy to implement & provision, can help with customer support and internal team support. My team and end users rely on Confluence every day for so many needs and we are finding more uses all the time as we integrate it into our workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to do some connections to Jira/Jira Service Management is still a little lacking when used for everyday ticket and asset tracking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With so many sources of documentation and the need for a single source as well as a customer (internal, end user) facing knowledge base, Confluence helped us solve all these problems and more. Being able to collaborate in real time and use the new White Board functions have been huge!
