Works great as a source of truth
What do you like best about the product?
Centralized location to store all knowledge articles related to the product and procedures

A bit tricky to navigate and libraries continue to split
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using confluence as a source of truth. The benefit is that we can use the confluence link for all resource materials. The negative is that if we paste text into let's say a Google slide, that will not update as the confluence page gets updated. Not that I expect it to update, but it would be nice if we could copy/paste as a live modal in other applications so information only needs to be updated in one place.
Pretty decent collaboration application
What do you like best about the product?
In many cases, Confluence is a complete collaboration application for companies with different page layouts for many different project types. It is a simple and accessible information source, especially for the newcomers and interns. Since it is a cloud-based solution it is also suitable for people who work abroad. It is integration with the Jira software works beautifully.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to pay for even for the simplest plugin in the market (like gif support). Table creation and editing are also not as detailed (customizable) as in the MS Excel. And their server goes down from time to time. I've lost some of my typing because of this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can work on a single file with many people meaning we can edit/add the opinions of many people in a single file at the same time. We are also communicating during our Confluence writing sessions. We can see the changes immediately and comment on things before publishing them. It is also easier to do version-control with the Confluence. We can easily go back to an older version if we dislike something.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Confluence makes things easier for companies especially for people who work abroad. The version control feature is detailed enough and works pretty decent. Its support of Latex also another plus for people who like to write in Latex. It can be also used for a reliable information storage since it is a cloud-based solution.
Great tool for document collaborating and with team members
What do you like best about the product?
I love the collaboration feature. Sharing ideas by providing web document URL to team members. Getting their input and uploading files for sharing as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't require a lot of training however I do recommend you spend at least 5-10min looking at free online training videos to see all the supported things with Confluence

File sharing. Creating documents and sharing my ideas with team members for their feedback

Great tool especially if you are using a lot of other Atlassian products

What do you like best about the product?
I believe that the software is really solid in terms of organizing data in one place. It is also important to note that it is very easy to use, its interface is completely intuitive and very bright. It is worth mentioning that it integrates very well with Jira and this has given me benefits in each of my projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that the software has deficiencies in terms of the calendar, that is, occasionally it does not respond to my executions in an optimal way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using this product in order to maintain a solid database to document the most important files of the company. In turn, we can build project requirements so that customers can see the advantages we have. It has really been very helpful for collaboration and information management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This software is highly recommended. You will have at your disposal a multipurpose tool, with an important capacity for collaboration to keep everything in optimal conditions in your company. It is customizable and contains large databases to keep the information in one place.
Confluence usage for a Tech Product company
What do you like best about the product?
The software suite works amazingly to hold and arrange information in a methodical manner.
Multiple pages, hierarchical structure and links within pages is a must have when there is a lot of interconnected information to be shared across teams.
Also, Confluence has some neat integrations with other apps, like Draw.io etc which allow the user to not having to switch apps to access information.
jira and Confluence work pretty nicely hand in hand, and that's how we have been using it.

What do you dislike about the product?
A few things I dislike are
1. The new Page edit interface is not really an upgrade on the previous page edit interface. They have cut down on a few features which were of quite a lot of use.
2. A soon as slightly heavy media is uploaded on a Page, the page gets really non-responsive and hard to use.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We as a Hardware Product company use Confluence to manage and store all technical information for the Systems, as well as sub systems.
We have Team dedicated pages, where specific teams can publish all the new developments, test results, datasheets, as well as documentation for code-bases.
This helps immensely to bridge the information gap between multiple teams.

Confluence is a good tool to be used when you have multiple teams working on information which is essential to all teams, as it brings transparency as well as ease of use together in a very streamlined manner.
Improve Quality work using Confluence
What do you like best about the product?
It helps for in Webinars. The documentation made by this is excellent. And ofcourse, the mobile version is perfect.
What do you dislike about the product?
The editor of confluence behaviour is quite terrible. When we scroll the page down, unfortunately we just went to edit page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The templates are customised. We can track our milestones and Idea management.

It's a great plateform to set the company's milestones and achieve the same using smart work and constant resource management.
A complete collaboration application with dynamic formats
What do you like best about the product?
Compared to many other collaboration platforms on the market, I feel that Confluence is more complete since we can add many types of layouts to post content in a way that fits the needs of specific projects, events and other collaborative activities we have. I like the instantaneous nature in which we can receive and input data so that everyone is updated right away and can act upon new information instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence has been a pretty good collaboration tool that hasn't had many faults that I could see so far. If there was something that I feel could improve Confluence, it would probably be for them to add more templates so that I can spend less time setting up collaboration projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is the way for us to communicate with many team members, or people outside of our organization, to plan and get everyone involved in a more streamlined way. We can avoid setting up meetings or calls and having to get everyone scheduled at the exact same time. We can have people input content whenever it's most convenient for them and make more informed decisions and complete projects faster.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would try experimenting with different layouts before settling on one type of layout. You might see that you're communications will run smoother if a layout allows for things like pictures and video.
Confluence magnificent instrument to create good team content
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is excellent because it allows team members to track the status of the project. They can also follow their individual tasks and add links. It is very customizable with themes and color combinations and a lot of add-ons to particularize their experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that data migrations can be complicated and the security service is interrupted so it is good to make a manual backup. It would make it very easy for me to have tables that show pages fabetically with filter field options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Confluence for ideas, brainstorming, product stories, change records, standing meetings, retrospective meetings and to track production problems. It is also used to access information about our hardware and software solutions in a convenient location. It offers new and old employees the ability to obtain information about an area they may have questions about.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Confluence is very useful for managing a knowledge base for an organization. It is easy to find the information one might need about a particular project or topic. It provides a clean and pleasant view of the true version of documents of any kind, including graphics, diagrams and diagrams. It also supports mobile devices with a receptive interface, which allows us to be in contact with other content creators on the fly.
Great tool for documenting
What do you like best about the product?
Easy tos hare and edit wiki pages. We use it for all support documentation for our clients and it is a god send

Not a lot too much, sometimes creating a space might be a little complicated initially
