digital dumping ground for all internal knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence contains really valuable information about your internal organization. Every team can add as much information as they like. We use it to store documentation, how to's, internal policies, meeting notes and more!
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation is a nightmare. Because every team uses it to store any content that is important to them, navigating by clicking from article to article is almost impossible due to lack of standardization. Searching works well though so we encourage our users to search rather than browse.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Confluence for storing all internal policies and procedures as well as knowlege-base articles, meeting notes etc. It's a "one stop shop" for all internal documentation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Always search keywords to find the info you're after
Not bad, but not great
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is great for gathering business requirements during software projects. It's awesome that it connects with JIRA, and is somewhat intuitive once you use it enough.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be pretty confusing to set up pages with properties and other macros. It takes some real training to be able to use the more powerful features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some problems - when you go into edit mode on a page, many times it will just sit there spinning/loading. You have to refresh the page for it to actually go into edit mode.
Benefits - good way to gather requirements and share documents with external clients.
Benefits - good way to gather requirements and share documents with external clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider also adding JIRA if you decide to use Confluence. The real value is being able to use Confluence for requirements gathering, and tying it to JIRA (workflow management).
Good for reporting and document management
What do you like best about the product?
Good tool for writing collaborative reports and storing everything central
What do you dislike about the product?
Search menu. Very hard to track documents and find them when you need them. Tangs and keywords help but still ...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Linking tasks and reports and meeting notes all together
Pretty organized work flow
What do you like best about the product?
I was able to incorporate all my tasks and projects in the same space and share it with the members of my team. There was also a pipeline for individual timelines
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there's anything I disliked about Confluence. It had everything I needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

must have for content creation
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Content is clean and always user friendly. Making updates is very intuitive. Could not recommend it more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to report at this time. Makes creating content a breeze. Easy to use and understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting out clean and easy to understand and view updates and processes to the entire team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want content to be clean and easy to create, go with Confluence.
Decent document management and collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
Members from different teams can easily view and make updates to pages; allows for very easy collaboration across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit clunky to first use and not as intuitive as it should be. Search is also a bit difficult to find what you are looking for, and when pages are moved to new pages, you aren't redirected to the new page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is used mainly as a document retention library; it allows for others to more easily see important documents across all areas a user is allowed to view.
Great way to keep project documentation , even better if used with Jira
What do you like best about the product?
It has a lot of templates and plugins, also integration with other Attlasian products is excellent, we use it to manage our documentation and integrate it with Bitbucket and Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes edition is a bit tricking and it is easy to eventually have a lot of orphan pages because it keep saving pages with no content (it is due to the autosave feature)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To track documentation versions, to make dynamic reports integrating it with Jira. Also plugins like draw.io and Google docs allow you to embed external generated or tracked content
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you plan to use the Attlasian stack it is great, if you use other tools maybe it is not the best alterntative.
Confluence Review
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to link Spaces to Jira tickets and keep all the information for a project in one place
What do you dislike about the product?
We've been running into some bugs with some of the new updates they launched, nothing major
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to get all of our project managers using the same templates and note spaces
Keeps us all on the same page
What do you like best about the product?
This excellent product helps our Product, Development, and Customer Success teams all stay on the same page. Whenever an update to our product is made, the team logs it in the knowledge base for internal stakeholders. The flexibility organize things in ways that make sense is a great plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have run into user permission issues in the past. It would be nice to have more customized role types for niche positions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product Database and FAQ. We have benefited from having all of the information about our tools in one location, that can be viewed by the entire organization.
Excellent place to document everything about your product or project
What do you like best about the product?
You get some brilliant features with confluence. It's the one place we use to collaborate with our teams and clients. Confluence also integrates greatly with Jira and other Atlassian software to superpower your product development. Although it's great for digital products, it can also be used for other projects like design and whatnot.
It's extremely easy to use that most of our clients were on board and started using it very quickly. That was pretty fascinating.
With the confluence app for iPad and iPhone it's even easier to manage tasks on the go. You can easily complete your tasks on these apps.

What do you dislike about the product?
With so many features inbuilt, it often slows down. Not very often though.
Client management could have been better. We needed to have separate space for clients and internal teams. They could really come up with a Basecamp kind of solution to ensure better client management for projects.
They could have had a better way of in page content review. They recently launched commenting on specific areas of an image, but soon that was removed. Not sure why.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us document our work. Version management is great alongside the feature where you can easily copy one page from one space to another space. We manage our product design work with Confluence. They also have great templates that we used in order to speed up our documentation process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool for you to create documents, manage products and collaborate with teams.
