Decent place to document information

What do you like best about the product?
Very useful to document information and organize different types of content and collaborate with different teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its a bit slow to load pages. I'm also not a fan of the ui and the look and feel of the application. And it needs constant single sign on which is annoying
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to document important information and collaborate across teams.

What do you like best about the product?
To collaborate with clients and other third parties on project details or any other requirements, this is a wiki developed initially to deliver client-facing documentation. It is a central repository as I mentioned in the title. Implemented web based on cloud so easily available from anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
Definitely search is not very accurate when we use multiple words (phrase), it generally returns all pages which contains any one word in it. Second I feel data is not related as in Jira. UI is also not as good based on latest web pages available of various products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apart from many repository we developed a tool for production support for a resolution of various errors. So oncall person can easily find the resolution if it is mentioned in the confluence. Earlier we developed a desktop version, issue was to install it on everyone's PC but once we moved to Confluence now it is easy to access the features. Maintenance is also easy due to this.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If looking for repository which can be used internally and give the exposure to external world/ clients, which can be configured easily in confluence. May be you don't like the UI and search features but apart from this it will fulfill the requirements,

Perfect for internal knowledge sharing

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is the perfect tool for sharing knowledge internally. Few important features like creating private space, creating documents, updating those documents, sharing those documents to others based on their role and many more. You can even add comments and discuss on specific documents. Apart from that, you can integrate other Atlassian products like Jira to list down all the tickets and directly refer them from Confluence only.
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding specific page or document or space is very difficult in Confluence. It could have been better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Confluence for sharing knowledge to my team members. It helped me in accessing the documents which helped me a lot in understanding project design to company overview and many more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to have some internal knowledge sharing tool then Confluence is the best software available in the market right now you can use.

Some macros are not free and there are some limitations as you cannot edit the source code

What do you like best about the product?
I can say that it is an integral tool, drag and drop, that allows me to format the page. In the same way I can access to navigate very easily. It is ideal, it provides me with updates on the last document I have made. It is exceptional because I have the technique to customize my working. And it gives me visibility and take control of all my software projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I may find it somewhat difficult because access may be limited, taking this suggestion into account, it could be improved and have a good function. As for the cost, its value must be considered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence has increased in our business as a rule to capture and create ideas and then finalize a decision. In addition all our equipment uses it. Therefore we have the possibility of acquiring information regarding an area which may have questions. Confluence is great we are using it throughout the company, because we can access important documents.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Confluence is excellent, it is very easy to use because our employees are more fluent in order to create documents and keep it updated. It is really effective, because a group of people can edit the same page at the same time. It is usually ideal, because we can store information on the status of the project, as it is easy and can be accessed by many people.

What do you like best about the product?
Super intuitive tool to keep all your documentation tidy and updated. Perfect for big or small teams.
Their macros are some of the most powerful i've seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lately they are doing a lot of updates that make the user experience not so good. I wish they would listen more to the community to make their changes. Also, you have to pay for any additional plugin.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We made all the company put their documentation there, so at last we have a unified knowledge tool for all.

What do you like best about the product?
Its the most relevant tool we use in my office to check procedures or templates or info we deliberately implement with the clients in customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no option to open an independent browser and keeping the sheet you have been reading without opening it again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In confluence, we in our company have all the information we need on how to perform in certain ocassion and we can look into that everytime we need. Plus the info can be updated.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not hesitate to use this software as this helped me out in my job. It is well organized and filled with options

Too much to dig through

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is a great place to store A LOT of information. I also like the team section, it is probably the easiest part of the app to use. Not that there is much to do there.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how overwhleming it can be within the app. It is not user friendly, you have to search for most things and it is nearly impossible to use as a wiki for new hires. I have since switched to Notion which is very very easy to use (Similar to trello and asana).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems were solved, it served as an internal wiki for us. The benefits are how easy the pages are to create and the team functionality. It is nice when you are in a hurry and need to transfer documentation into your wiki and its easy to do. That part is pretty user friendly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check out some of the others on the market. There are more reasonably priced, efficient choices. Notion, Asana, Trello, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
While Confluence served its purpose and provided a great method for keeping track of team knowledge and procedures. It had a nice layout and was easy to search and organize into pages, but it wasnt particularly "smart" or advanced.
What do you dislike about the product?
It didn't offer much. Video quality was always reduced when embedded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of team knowledge and helping ensure consistency.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think you should look into other programs like guru.

Managing project information, architecture documentation and user stories with Confluence

What do you like best about the product?
It is a great tool to keep all your project documentation, share it with your customers and complete your user stories as well as the acceptance criterias of each other
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be fantastic if the editor allows you more flexibility at the moment you write an article. Also the mobile appearance could be better because it limits the functionality
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am managing project documentation, architecture and requirements. I am also using confluence to document all our project user stories, share them with the customer and define our acceptance criteria
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend use Confluence with Jira integration, both solutions are really great and compatible to fully manage projects, teams, documentation and time.
