Decent software
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Confluence is easy to navigate and user friendly with the ability to store a lot of documentation with your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that the UI looks rather outdated and could look more modern. That is really my only dislike when it comes to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to mostly to store information on site configurations, source codes, links, embed codes, and directions
Confluence Review - Good and Bad
What do you like best about the product?
The options and features for creating different articles and links is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The native integration with Jira. The integration is easy to set up but if you don't have all your users in both system then they can't see the Jira data you just pulled in. What's the point of the integration if you still have to add all the user to Jira any way??
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keep our teams all on the same page and maintain a system of record so that we can reference past data.
How could I live without it?
What do you like best about the product?
Easy permission management, live editing, multiple macros, extensible by a lot of plugins.
You have to learn it's basics, but when you do (and it will come faster than you think), it will become a second nature to share documents through it.

What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile view sucks at current stage. Was trying to use it with no success. Terrible UX there.
Sometimes you need plugins to make basic experience from other competitive solutions.
No easy way of telling who can or cannot see my page. Server setup can be sometimes troublesome.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier knowledge sharing. Collaboration live between multiple team members and stakeholders was made really easy after adding it to our internal tech stack.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Decide if you would like to go for Cloud or Server. Differences can be substantial.
Also pick some plugins before and make a budget for it.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to organize things together everytime
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving communication with other team members and training documents for new team members.
Easy to use for document storage...
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to upload documents for everyone to see. Access controls seem pretty seamless. Organization/layout of the site seems decent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as robust as a SharePoint site, for instance. Limited ways for teams to collaborate on files. Seems to function more like a document storage location. Didn't see built in workflows for tracking files, or version controls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Store documents to share with broader team
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Improve collaboration capabilities

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence allows me to see product scope with indexing so I can jump around quickly
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is not as nice as it could be so sometimes it’s a bit hard to find something
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence allows me to see the work of PMs and Engineers come together in one place
Perfect tool for documentation
What do you like best about the product?
The great thing about Confluence is that it is very easy to use as a beginner. It is very simple to create large amount of document and you can also upload any kind of files as a attachment. It provides preview of the attachment as well which is good feature to have as you won't have to switch to different application to view the attachment. You can even tag different people to make them aware of the document or even review it. You can add comment and even highlight the text to mark it for the future references. You can even integrate 3rd party plugins to enhance its functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it becomes tedious and frustrating to search particular document as it doesn't have good search functionality. It could have been better. It is bit expensive as well if you have a small organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it for creating and maintaining the organization level documents and also I am doing the review of the documents which have been created by my team members. It helped me a lot in understanding the project requirement as those documents are easily available in Confluence.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is recommended to all who wants to have organization level documentation and doesn't have any price constraint then Confluence is the best tool you can have.
All company's intelligence in one place

UI issues still exist and are to be resolved. Sandboxing before publication would be a nice thing to have

Having all the knowledge in one place, searchable
Collaboration has never been simpler, or more powerful
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use when creating new spaces or pages. Setting up a new page for info sharing for our inside sales team has never been easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes support can be slow to answer, but their extensive FAQ section makes up for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nothing that I can say as of now. Oh maybe that some settings could be easier to find.
