Very sufficient
What do you like best about the product?
It is very sufficient for documenting the organization’s learning material
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a very old and ugly User interface
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly used for Documentation
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be well organized with the content you want to add there
Quick Reference
What do you like best about the product?
That is available through the network. I can access it though multiple different devices. Holds large quantities of information that is searchable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lack of visual links and excel usability
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Database storage that is searchable and has links to them.
Quite a nice tool for colaboration
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and already existing templates are really simple to use. There are some predefined templates that are really useful and make usage simple and straightforward. What I also like is that you can easily use comments at the end of pages to communicate with other members of the confluence.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some plugins are payable and I think could be for free.
There is no really nice and simple tool for drawing graphs.
The markdown is not working well also not with the prepared solutions. This is so often used way to document thinks in projects that confluence should support this out of the box the same as gitlab. So if you copy the markdown readme.md from github/gitlab/... to confluence there is a high chance that text will not be in the same format as original. This is really sad. There could be more themes for separated user profiles. This would really add some additional use experience.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our company, we solve a few problems, not just one. The first problem was with 'live' documentation as documentation was constantly changing and we were not able to track everything with word documents. Confluence solves these issues really nice and on top of all, you can see the diff between two different versions of the same document or page.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just take this as granted and use it. It really gives benefit into the collaboration process, documentation and all other meetings note taking process.
Good for collaboration but weak UI
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a great tool for sharing information and collaborating with colleagues in a clear, easily shared way. Easy to edit and to track the development of content over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI / UX feels dated, and that can be off-putting for new users to the solution. Search functionality seems more difficult as a result of the UI. Notifications of changes via email can quickly become overwhelming in volume.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing information for collaboration across the team and wider business. Provides better visibility of work for everyone.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Establishing clear guidelines for how you will use Confluence, along with careful structuring of content will likely help users work better.
Slow but powerfull
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you really can create almost any structure of pages and put inside almost any content.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is too complicated in general, and slow sometimes, and sometimes you need to do too much actions to make simple stuff done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use for documenting mostly, but I can count examples:
1. summaries from meetings (especially - frontend-design meetings, I am a designers)
2. some rules of our workflow (f.e. definition of done and etc.)
3. some rules of our design system (f.e. how to properly name font styles, colors and etc.)

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't try to put everything in it
Confluence as a good knowledgebase

The posibility of structured input
It‘s accessible for the whole comany
It‘s easy to work with colleagues on one space

What do you dislike about the product?
Some macros are not selfexplaining and some macros (like the checkbox) is just working for peaple who can edit pages
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is our big knowledgebase and saves us a lot time
We created teamspaces so everyone knows where to find the right person to speak to

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Absolutely worth a try!
The best tool to manage your company documentation
What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy way to organize and write documentation, and the easy configuration of the visibility rights on a document
What do you dislike about the product?
It's interface for moving a document is not so efficient, and the visualization of tables is not so smart
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With this tool you store and share the documentation of your company withour having physical folders and physical files of different type
Central Company File Directory
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is fairly easy to navigate after playing around with the tabs for a while. It is straight forward and easy to edit.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there can be a better layout for files and tabs but the search feature helps out with that aspect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed more functionality than dropbox for company wide implementation. Lots of integration and capabilities.
Not also user-friendly but high flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
The easy way to share content with other and integrate many formats such as graphics, pictures, texts etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not always user-friendly: from time to time it's difficult to find the one button you need or to apply the right restrictions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team communication, knowledge Sharing, Beeing on the same page.
Confluence is a great documentation and KB platform
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is simple to use, build documentation with, and deliver it to internal and external users alike. Moving pages is simple, reorganizing is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The text editing has never been great and still isn't. The closer to Microsoft Word they can get it, the better. Right now I end up struggling and stumbling through controlling indentations, for example. There should be simple indent buttons, rather than autoformatting in Confluence fighting me every step of the way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because it's very quick to put together documentation and publish it, adoption is much better. It's almost the same amount of work to put it in Confluence than to just keep it in my personal notes. That has helped spread knowledge GREATLY.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a real look at Confluence compared to other platforms. Sharepoint is a terribly complicated, clunky option, even through Microsoft includes it in Office 365. The time saved in using Confluence is unbeatable. For small teams? There's NO QUESTION that Confluence is the best cheap solution.
