Easy to setup and use

  • August 21, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to set up, use, migrate. I like security policies. They are quite clear and east to define. Billing is per user and not per content which helps for small organization. This is a great tool for managing and sharing the information. Privacy rules can easily be setup for each space or for each page.
What do you dislike about the product?
Search is keyword based and that sometimes gives not the most needed result at the top. Not an easy way available to migrate documents or pages from Wiki.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No documents are floating around and no change of getting them lost. But, if someone really needs a document in a file then confluence page can be exported as a document too. Easy setup for a customer facing documentation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I believe that Confluence is by far the best tool I have seen for managing information and documentation.

Good Tool For Sharing Documents Internally

  • August 20, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Confluence is that you can easily create any documents and share it to whole organization or you can also share it to specific team members. You can also tag particular person in the page so that he/she can view it and also review it. It has very good history management which gives information about the all the changes which has been made till date and also gives information about who made those changes. It can be integrated with Jira as well so that you can access all the information about sprint related in a single space.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI is very poor. Uploading links/documents can be improved. It doesn't work properly if multiple users are editing the page simultaneously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using this to create requirement documentation, technical documentation and many other documents. Also we have integrated Jira into Confluence in our organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want a centralize space for keeping and sharing all the documents which are required for your organization then Confluence is the best tool available in the market.

The ability to share documents and be informed of any updates that have happened across the company.
