What do you like best about the product?
Confluence enables the company to share knowledge and best practices. In addition it is possible to upload files and comment on contents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on how it is structured it can be quite hard to find what you're searching for. The UI isn't very intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowledge sharing; reduction of necessity of asking coworkers for information
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to define a good structure and that people publishing content in Confluence stick to that structure

What do you like best about the product?
The pre defined templates available, makes the task easy and quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
It should be more flexible and should provide for formatting and documenting options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We write release notes, RFCs, task report, project plan, project task report, meeting notes, how-to-article, retrospective, product requirement.

Great tool for documentation sharing

What do you like best about the product?
We use Confluence as a centralized location for storing our project document with on-premise deployment.
Our staff uses Confluence to create project stuff such as meeting notes, requirements, guideline and research reports, it is easy to create content and sharing with the necessary user, keep track of history change, comment and review.
It works great with other Atlassian tool such as Jira, Jama, we could create detail requirement in Confluence and manage it in Jama, create relate ticket in Jira
What do you dislike about the product?
attachment management is not good, hard to delete the old attachment, the UI and menu is not clear enough
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Confluence to store our project requirement, sharing a document, guideline, meeting minutes, so in all other tools: Email, Jira, Jama.... just need to refer to Confluence.
We use user permission to limit access to specify project content
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tools, special when you use it with other Atlassian software, best for keep track and sharing documents between team

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to embed google sheets , images , other tables and atlassian tools
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes formatting is a pain. Creating a page that looks the same on all resolutions is difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create wiki pages to store research done for reference later by other employees.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Create templates for easy page creation.

What do you like best about the product?
I think for technical documentation, you can see the benefit in confluence. It shows it fairly nicely on the pages and there isnt much to be against on that standpoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do find that confluence is not as pretty as other software that does similar, such as internal hubs or google drive docs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
internal notes and communication. I have realized that confluence was not used!

What do you like best about the product?
I use confluence daily, my team members also use confluence daily. It is one of the best document management system I have ever seen. It is super easy. It has lots of feature like :
1. You can create document in it and insert pictures, table, and other many things.
2. You can tag your team members in it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I like it very much and me and my team members use it daily, it has few issues also. Like me and my team members have noticed formatting issue many time. We have see issue with table formatting also, Sometime the table width and height gets auto adjusted after saving the document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Document management becomes very simple with Confluence.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely give it a try and you will find it useful.

Access from outside organization was simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
In installation I was using has to many areas, You never now where are documents you are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing and reweing project mangment documentations.

Do not implement complicated structure of documents and areas inside tools

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, sharing, Alerts on latest updates made. Ease of search and team collaboration. I love the mobile app as it is very easy to access and read. Last viewed document/page can be customized to show up on your home screen, that has been a life saver for me on multiple occasion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creation of document, some basic features and designs are outdated and could be enhanced to make it up to par with the new offerings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing Business processes and acts as internal knowledge central. Easy of use/sharing and alert system.

What do you like best about the product?
Layout is convenient, organizational hierarchy is useful. Generally this is a convenient way to store and organize documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Collaboration on the same document is not very convenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Long-term documentation for various guides, manuals, best practices.
We also use it for agendas and meeting notes (when 1 person makes the notes).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've been using Confluence at two different companies over the span of 5 years, and I can definitely tell it's gotten better in terms of design and usability.
