Wiki content-sharing experience
What do you like best about the product?
A secure wiki-style document sharing platform
What do you dislike about the product?
It's isolated and does not appear to have an option to download an icon for easy desktop access
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This solves the need for a wiki site to poste relevant business documents

Create a link to a Confluence enterprise master page for easy access by staff through bookmarking.

1) the only dislike is huge decrease of performance when using plugins
2) I would vote for more extensive integration with Jira and calendards from Jira

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helping me to solve the issues of having good knowledge base across the company.
The benefit of this system is an ability to layout all types of content and with the mix of permissions to have it correctly placed internally and externally.

The best thing is how its easy to use. Everything is intuitively.
What do you dislike about the product?
Search engine can be better. Some advanced options will be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of things related to development. From requirements to meetings.

Easy to share info/docs across team and allow members to make edit and contributions.

Overall not much to complain about. I do get email notifications for every page I'm following which can be a bit overwhelming for my inbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have coverage trackers in confluence making it easy to monitor when new pieces of coverage come through.

Confluence has really helped me with organization especially with the calendar share feature.

My team has become alot more organized, following agile methods and streamlining our to-do lists in confluence

with many fields and lots of data entry, there are somethings that confluence can do better such as drop and drag, more directional fields.

software engineering in a small fintech - scaling our team to full potential.

There is a level of quality and data entry that must be set up when using this product, if the team is committed to enforcing the use and integrity of the data, it can be really useful to keep projects on time.
It is a fantastic product.

The possibility of being able to create documents about projects within an organization in an organized way so that later they are reviewed by the managers and share their opinions within the documents themselves is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the only thing that has had problems is in which wiki gets stuck in some of its contents. I would like them to improve their performance to improve the efficiency of organizations. It also has an error in the toolbar, it does not change bold letters to color.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like that Confluence allows many users to contribute and share information as well as to be able to edit and update all the information that is necessary for the disposition of the users.

I recommend this product because it facilitates all kinds of very useful information and is a key tool for small and medium organizations that handle a lot of information.

What do you like best about the product?
The rich panels and easy formatting macros. The structure is easy and free-flowing information. The user management and integration to our corporate user ADS is good. Love the colours and syntax highlighting for language specific snippets. Supports rich media embedding and integrates with Microsoft Sharepoint and allows collaborative editing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Searches must be better, the templates are often not having useful snippets or samples embedded. Preview is available on most macros but do not have useful content. Looks like the feature was shipped before it was complete.

For easy collaboration and knowledge management for large (>100) number of users.

Easy to create new content and begin from scratch, or to duplicate from a past template and begin with a skeleton

After years of use, content can become overwhelming for new users. Create ways to highlight the most relevant/important pieces of data from recent history and/or all-time

Keeping dozens of developers and project managers on the same page is easy with one central store of data over the course of many sprints
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This product integrates well with the rest of the Atlassian suite (Jira, Bitbucket, SourceTree) and that is something great if you are considering and/or already use those.
