  • August 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence makes it easy to collaborate across teams by keeping documentation and knowledge sharing in one central location. One primary use case I have is engaging with our company wiki via Confluence, which helps ensure consistency across projects and resources, and provides a reliable reference point for the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it’s great for documentation, it can be challenging to keep content up to date, as older pages often get buried and forgotten.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence serves as the platform to house our centralized wiki, an element that is key to maintaining consistency, streamlining knowledge sharing, and providing an accessible source of truth for the entire team - especially with a distributed workforce.”

Best Review!

  • August 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to create structured spaces and pages, combined with the built-in search and tagging features, makes finding information a breeze, too. Oh, and the templates! They save so much time when setting up documentation, meeting notes, or project plans.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence can slow down with very large pages or spaces, particularly if you’ve got tons of images, heavy macros, or embedded files. This can affect the user experience, especially in big organizations with a lot of content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real-Time Collaboration: The ability for multiple team members to edit and comment on a page simultaneously is huge. It eliminates the need for back-and-forth emails or version control headaches that come with tools like Word or Google Docs.

    Education Management

A reliable tool for streamlining workflows and centralizing knowledge

  • August 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence makes documentation and coordination so much easier. I like how it provides a central space where meeting minutes, policies, and project updates are stored in an organised way. It has reduced confusion and given us a single source of truth across departments. The templates are very practical, and the integrations with tools like Jira and Teams help bridge documentation with actual project execution.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be overwhelming for new users, and the mobile version doesn’t provide the same editing flexibility as the desktop app. Large pages take longer to load, especially when attachments are included. It takes a bit of patience to become fully comfortable with the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps solve the problem of scattered and inconsistent documentation. At CA Sri Lanka, we manage multiple committees, projects, and internal processes, and it was difficult to keep track of the latest versions of documents when relying on shared drives and email. Confluence provides a centralised, searchable knowledge base where policies, meeting notes, and project updates are always up to date. This has reduced duplication, saved significant time, and improved overall coordination across departments.

An excellent platform for academic collaboration and structured knowledge sharing

  • August 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a powerful tool for organising research materials and collaborating across academic projects. I particularly value how it allows our research group to build structured documentation spaces that can be accessed by multiple contributors at once. The ability to create templates for meeting notes, literature reviews, and project timelines has been extremely helpful. Integrating with Jira also makes tracking research milestones much more systematic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence has a learning curve, particularly for students or academics who are new to digital collaboration platforms. The interface can feel cluttered, and pages with a lot of data or attachments sometimes load slowly. The mobile app also doesn’t provide the same smooth editing experience as the web version, which limits flexibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is helping us solve the challenge of fragmented information across research teams. In academia, documents often exist in personal folders, email threads, or separate platforms, which makes collaboration difficult. With Confluence, we now have a centralised knowledge base for research protocols, meeting notes, project timelines, and IT documentation. This improves transparency, reduces duplication of work, and ensures all collaborators — both staff and students — can access updated information at any time. The benefits include faster collaboration, easier onboarding for new researchers, and greater efficiency in managing large, complex projects.

    Information Technology and Services

A centralised knowledge hub that transformed collaboration in our team

  • August 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence makes teamwork seamless by providing one central space for knowledge sharing. I particularly value the way it integrates with Jira, allowing project documentation and task tracking to flow together. The rich templates, intuitive editing, and ability to embed media or diagrams make documentation clear and engaging.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform can be overwhelming for new users. The interface feels cluttered at times, and large pages take longer to load. Mobile functionality also lags behind the desktop version, making it harder to collaborate on the go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps us address the long-standing challenge of fragmented knowledge across teams. Previously, important documents were scattered across emails, shared drives, or personal folders, making it difficult to access reliable information quickly. With Confluence, we now maintain a centralised knowledge base and IT documentation hub. This improves transparency, reduces duplicated work, and ensures that project details, policies, and technical processes are always up to date. The benefit has been significant time savings, improved collaboration, and greater confidence that everyone is working from the same source of truth.

Good for general documentation, but not AWS-focused

  • August 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is quite reliable when it comes to documentation and team collaboration. Its Ease of Use makes it simple for new users to get started, and the Ease of Implementation was fairly smooth within our setup. The Frequency of Use across teams is high, as it helps centralize information and keep track of ongoing projects. Overall, it provides a structured way to share and organize knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the downside, the Number of Features can sometimes feel overwhelming, and not all of them are relevant for day-to-day work. While the tool supports integrations, the Ease of Integration with certain third-party apps isn’t always seamless. In addition, the Customer Support experience could be more responsive and proactive, especially when issues affect collaboration at scale.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps us solve the problem of scattered documentation by giving a central place for teams to create, store, and share information. It improves knowledge management, reduces confusion, and ensures that everyone has access to the latest updates. With features like collaborative editing and structured pages, it makes project tracking and internal communication more organized. This saves time, increases team productivity, and ensures smoother handovers across teams.

What do you dislike about the product?

Confluence is our reference guide so every procees that my team needs to follow, need to be on confluence first, when we have a new employee that the way they can check our system and guide themselves to make sure that they are aware of our newest request and keep us aware of the necessities of the line, its always the first tool that employees can use in case they need assistance.
