User-friendly and easy to use app
What do you like best about the product?
It is versatile and easy to use, its panel is simple and modern. It organizes and manages documents efficiently. It's great to share projects and ideas as a team. Confluence integrates with many of the applications we use as storage clouds and diagramming tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence is great. I don't find issues in this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its simple and innovative system is the key solution to consolidate communication in the team. It's easy to collaborate with others and sharing feedback from ongoing projects, also effectively manage document storage.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It works for teams and organizations of all levels. It is a lightweight, multi-functional, easy to set up and even easier to use product. It is a great solution to consolidate teamwork for an affordable price.

What do you like best about the product?
Able to see progress throughout different workstreams
What do you dislike about the product?
Weird implementation and synergy with JIRA even though they are both Atlassian

Shared team collaboration space with calendar views
Confluence is great but I believe design could improve
What do you like best about the product?
I like the live updates, the fact that all the company can have different roles, edit authorization and so on which assures that the information doesn't get altered
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the design sometimes is not that intuitive and also is kind of borring
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving communication problems inside my company. Confluence allows us to have one-fits-all repository for all the policies, processes, manuals and workbooks that are official.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use all the connections/integrations with other platforms like trello. You seize the product even more.

Its a excelente application to personal documentation. I was using for envoriment documentation. Its works well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a free version, for personal use.
I didnt like its difficult to make some things, For exemple. I used it for envoriment documentation. I created some templates. I cant use this template. I have to copy, as a document word, and past in a new blank page.

Very good documentation for your agile projects
What do you like best about the product?
The interface, easy of use, all the plugins, all the settings that allows you to make custom privacy depending on different roles and how well is integrated for an agile project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you need to purchase plugins to get some functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you work in a agile project, there is no time for documentation, but by creating different sections and pages in Confluence I would say you have the best documentation you could have, with searching, comments, etc. It's even better than the traditional project documentation.
Amazing product

It helps manage all over development stories acceptance criterias and all the related information beautifully. It syncs up well with Jira as well

It is quite subjective. If it can be made more readable:understandable by using techniques like defineing block diagrams in better form, it would be good

What do you like best about the product?
We use Confluence as our company-wide hub for information for every department: from sales collateral, to engineering documentation, to Product Usage Guides. We like it best because it integrates directly into JIRA, which is most helpful when maintaining a backlog or roadmap for others to view and see as we can link it to tickets, and it also has integrations with Balsamic and Aha, which we also found helpful to directly embed wireframes and flowcharts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence wasn't made to be a sales tool, but now that they've engrained themselves in many companies' workflows for Product & Engineering documentation, it's easier for organizations to use it for everything. It needs a lot of improvements to be a better tool to house Sales collateral, one-sheets, powerpoints, and things like "Customer FAQ". They can support that now but not in a way that is marketing forward, so because it's not as flashy sales doesn't love using it. I would love if they can have more "slide share" type features so users can view presentations in the UI vs downloading, a better page template for FAQs so it's easier to search by topic and make it easier to search for documents or attachments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence has allowed us to solve for information sharing across the org, collaboration, and organization. We use it to plan for upcoming projects and roadmap planning, linking it to JIRA tickets & Epics, as well as storing usage guides, and documentation on existing products. We have really seen communication amongst teams increase since we started using it, and it's a huge reference tool for me as a manager to keep tabs on what my team is up to.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Confluence has become a widespread tool across so many organizations in the Tech/ Ad Tech/ Martech world, so knowledge of it will be greatly helpful to you as you continue your career. Using Confluence and Knowledge of the platform has become a "no brainer", where it's almost table-stakes skillset vs even listed as a requirement. If you are using JIRA for dev or product management, Confluence is a must have for any org!
Great way to keep all your documentation in one place
What do you like best about the product?
Simple and organized navigation menu. Great to specify guides for best practices, how to use an API, steps for setting up development environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature isn't as robust - sometimes you have to search exact terms to find the correct document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of documentation in one simple place in an organized matter. It really benefits to have a centralized space for information.

Use it!
Confluence is a great and simple tool to keep project and company knowledge in once place.
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence makes knowledge management simple to organize. It is also great for allowing others to collaborate in real-time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the Spaces can be a bit intimidating, but thankfully there are countless places within Atlassian and the internet to find direction for this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a single consolidated place for our teams to share knowledge. We have been able to reduce the time it takes to view project and corporate information as it is now all in one place.

The power of Confluence does not stop with content management. The Atlassian suite of applications are completely integrated within each other and each brings additional functionality when used together.
Amazing Team Planning Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Confluence allows your team to track tasks throughout time and delegate them to different team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the burn-down chart, I don't think it is a very useful tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setting goals and holding team members accountable for their work every few weeks. We have organized our tasks by categories and seen improvement in productivity.
