Confluence helps me organize

What do you like best about the product?
I love that unlike google docs, Confluence allows me to quickly structure a page to best format and organize my thoughts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not everyone at the company uses it, so sometimes I build these pages in vain. I do encourage people to use it though!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love being able to lay out a launch plan or a training video curriculum on the page, and quickly and easily share them with others.

What do you like best about the product?
We can publish updates to the whole team on company policies in a sec.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I didn't have to leave Gmail to search it.

Keeping everyone up to date on company policies.

A Love/Hate Relationship

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a great integration with JIRA software. You can easily tag tickets to wiki-pages in Confluence and visa-versa. If you need a wiki that works into your JIRA software, you cannot beat it. It also allow for multiple people to be in a page at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's clunky. The wiki-editing is not super customizable and they often take features away. If I was not tied to JIRA, I would use other means of capturing the same data. Even a Google Doc is as good, if not better than Confluence is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Document our Common Design Language in a way that is easily accessible by all team members and to document UX work for the engineering teams clarity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are not a JIRA or Atlassian user, don't start with Confluence. It's much easier to document the same items in other tools. If you are a JIRA/Atlassian users, it's super helpful!

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to access, navigate, and grant access to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the groups and the users relationship to the groups can become confusing. And sometimes it takes some digging to figure out which group you should be adding or a removing a user from.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the issue of everyone that is not in the same location will have the the same information and access to the information that should be shared amongst a team. the benefits that i have noticed is that teams are able to keep up with one another and make group decisions based on the same information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The administrator interface could be a bit easier to navigate. It can get a little confusing when assigning users to groups, or trying to issue the correct permissions for each project.

Flexible open and shared space for collaboration

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is used throughout my company as a shared workspace that differs from typical document and file-sharing tools. It is flexible enough for our group to use for many projects- from marketing ideas, sales processes, collaboration areas, and development plans, we house everything here.
What do you dislike about the product?
It required an internal resource to help us organize appropriately after we switched from a different system. This is not a downfall of the product, moreso of my company from an organization standpoint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company is easily able to connect across different teams but also have their own workspaces they are locked down to. It is easy to locate things with the search functionality and integrate with other apps from the Atlassian Suite.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Much easier to use than whatever you are currently using!

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Confluence is being able to access any needed documents quickly and it is very user friendly. I often need to use the How to Article so it is nice to have it all in one space at the click of a button.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I dislike I would say is the layout. I feel it should be updated some. Otherwise I truly don't have any issues with using it. I find it to be a great source to use and I would recommend it to others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wouldn't say we are solving any problems with it but using it as a helpful tool to access important information regarding our company and it;s integrations.

What do you like best about the product?
Got to place to track, document and version all documents and publish them for the internal and external purpose.
What do you dislike about the product?
The license is driven and integration with Jira.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documenting latest features, release updated and versioning them.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can see and track changes to pages and spaces.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the spaces can seem easily muddled and searches show too many results to be useful sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Passing down useful information to new members and solidifying processes. Decreased response time to incidents.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a better bigger OneNote then this is probably it.
