What do you like best about the product?
The best I like is that we can join such a various deals in one place. Integration with jira is a very important too. There is an opportunity to create graphs
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to integrate new users who doesn't know the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our programmers team does almost all their work thru the system. Jira, git and so on is here. It's very comfortable.

Solid overall functionality, difficult to search

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to quickly create wiki documents and the versatility the doc builder provides
What do you dislike about the product?
Very difficult to search for the items you want to find in the platform. Wished there was a more intuitive foldering system, though that may be our own implementation to blame.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides a good tool for the company to gather feedback, store product roadmap goals, track internal processes, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to keep it as organized as possible and have a clear vision for however it should be done. I've seen different departments use it in different ways which makes it difficult when your role is cross-departmental.

What do you like best about the product?
Use as hub for collecting information and calendars about projects. Calendar creation with different event types is helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to format pages without a lot of style options. Tasks are often finicky as far as functionality, do not always work the way you intend them to. Very little integration with Jira, despite the fact that it is directly related to Jira through Atlassian.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidation of information and assets for projects.

Initially difficult for new users to explore the products since it has many different ways to create pages but once user adapts the tool it's easy to work with it.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease at which the team can collaborate on the fly, regardless of location. We have a team that is spread out, with Chicago, Minneapolis, and Virginia along with folks in India. Very useful for easy collaboration on the fly
What do you dislike about the product?
The issues I have relate to IE, not confluence itself - confluence visual design gets worse and worse as the day goes on, requiring a restart of the browser to fix
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration, which happens very well Need to be able to have the clients we work with accessing the team site as well as be able to add and download material. Confluence allows for this as well as archival needs
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Collaboration is a breeze; Best if used outside of IE 11, but still very usable for shorter periods

What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of Confluence. We use it primarily for knowledge sharing on projects and event/client specific information. We also use it to display internal information like training material, company phone book, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything specific that I don't like about Confluence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is the space where we collaborate cross-departmentally to share information across multiple clients and programs. We use it primarily as a shared space to find resources and collect data to disperse among different departments as a knowledge base.

great product, very easy to use in a collaborative manner

Mediocre Wiki with good integrations to Jira

What do you like best about the product?
The only reason to use Confluence is because it integrates nicely with Jira. There are much better solutions out there and they cost less or are free.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is slow and clunky and not very intuitive. The search has to be the worst I have every used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use confluence as respository for "as-built" information

What do you like best about the product?
The UI is clean and minimalist. Furthermore, the search results are accurate. I'm always able to find the articles needed to help me troubleshoot an issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion, the platform somewhat felt intimidating when I was first using it because it seemed there's a lot going on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiki pages.
