Great piece of software ...could do more with helping with best practices
What do you like best about the product?
Integrations with other applications such as Lucidcharts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a great story for ramping up new users to Confluence. Takes quite a bit of effort to get ramped up to super user level skill set.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing knowledge openly and easily across the organization. Better communication.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure you have someone will become an expert and serve as the wiki gardener.
Works well as a static wiki - not so much for highly-collaborative agile teams
What do you like best about the product?
If you're an Atlassian user, tight integration with Jira and other Atlassian apps makes Confluence a hyperlinking powerhouse. Easily add shortcuts to Stories/Issues in Jira and notify other people by @mentioning them right in the body of the page.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence is a very clunky editing experience, especially when compared to Google Docs. While the two tools have different use cases, the editing experience in Confluence is very sub-par. Simple actions like re-arranging table rows/columns or editing multiple cells at once are very tedious. The full-width page format means line-length is absurdly long and pages are hard to read. The concept of published and collaborative live-editing being separate states is confusing and creates an odd level of stress and anxiety around how best to use the tool. Managing the location of pages within sites is in dire need of an update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence allows us to document things quickly, and keep them in a central place. It's helped us have a 'source-of-truth' for requirements and other documentation.
All your internal documentation in one place
What do you like best about the product?
This is a great solution for any business, small or large, to house internal documentation and notes. It is capable of housing a knowledge base and meeting notes, calendars, product roadmaps, pretty much anything you can think of. It's so easily editable and organizable for different business needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The different spaces can be a bit confusing, different teams can create documents that will be less relevant to say, Customer Support. But there is a way to search within 1 space, so that helps. You have to be mindful of how you implement this product as it can get messy quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing knowledge, sharing best practices between teams, creating a unified customer experience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely consider this solution for all-in knowledge base. But it is lacking in an integrated external support site, like some other products offer.

What do you dislike about the product?
It fills up my mailbox which gets irritating at times.

I usually used it for communications and group conferences and discussions online.
Easy to use software
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that it notifies you that other people at your organization have made changes to docs
What do you dislike about the product?
Writing can sometimes be difficult. Also, linking topics is not very intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowledge management. We needed a lot of processes to be completed and therefore needed to document them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for documenting processes
Good quality

All of my resources in one place and it is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence is not organized and wastes a lot of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Management for group projects and tracking meetings.
First time user
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the flexibility of the tool, the macro add ins are vast. Big fan.
What do you dislike about the product?
The attachments are limited and the widget sizing/customizing can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building a living product library
Unique environment
What do you like best about the product?
The best solution for collaboration. With Confluence, you can create meeting notes, project plans, include multimedia and dynamic content, and the team can give opinions or leave comments. We can create a different space for each department or team and be able to share the information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence at the moment has nothing negative, it is an application with a simple and careful interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The team can work agilely, being more productive. We can guide the collaborators by helping them find the assistance they need at any given moment.
It does what it says on the box!
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to search for content, add new content, format and update information.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a part of me that finds tables in confluence very cumbersome but if you need to use it you'll get accustomed to it. What Google docs offers is the ability to actually see what someone is working on in real time ... with Confluence I cringe every time I go to update and it mentions someone else has edited content. It's unclear. There isn't a clear lock while editing feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Group collaboration. We save a lot of time knowing where we can find documents, notes, information versus finding different people to request the information from. I feel I was able to onboard faster.
Good product
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence serves as our company wiki. Makes editing and sharing information between every department in our organization pretty easy and seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface feels a little dated. Not too much else to really dislike. Pretty straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helpful information between teams, particularly our internal processes.
