What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and versatility when writing documentation and sharing content related to processes. Also very useful in capturing meeting notes, team projects and updates. What do you dislike about the product?
Difficulty in organizing multiple pages and content. We are rarely using it on customer support

Organized content and easy to write documents. Project documenting and note taking

Great platform for organizing projects and campaigns

  • August 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ticketing system that allows you to nest tickets into each other. It's great for organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using a templated approach (rows and columns) inside a ticket, it feels limited to the surface being used (i.e. if desktop, it shows a window that you have to scroll within to see all the contents - it'd be more optimial if this feature scaled with adapability to screen size)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing me to stay on top of project information by keeping an organized hierarchy of information in an accessible place to all the teams.

A robust and reliable platform for software project documentation and workforce collaboration

  • August 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence offers a clean and intuitive workspace for creating, storing, and sharing documents. At Caresystems South Asia, we use it extensively to document software projects, maintain client implementation guides, and manage internal processes. The platform is straightforward enough that most staff can begin using it with minimal training, and its familiar formatting options make navigation and content creation easy.

Rolling it out within our organisation was relatively smooth, particularly since we were already using other Atlassian products. Setup and configuration did not require heavy technical involvement, and new projects could be documented almost immediately after deployment.

Confluence has become part of our daily operations. Teams across development, consulting, and support use it consistently to record meeting notes, store technical specifications, and collaborate on project documentation. The range of tools available — from page hierarchy and collaborative editing to template libraries and search — gives it the flexibility to support many different business functions.

Its ability to connect with Jira is especially valuable, as it links project documentation directly with tasks and issues. Beyond Jira, integration with other Atlassian and third-party applications extends its usefulness, allowing us to streamline workflows across departments without needing separate platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still areas where the platform could improve. Very large documents or pages with multiple embedded files can slow performance, which interrupts productivity. The reporting and audit trail features, while present, are not detailed enough for strict compliance requirements. Offline use is also limited, which can create difficulties when teams are working with clients in locations where internet connectivity is unreliable.

Customer assistance is another area of concern. While Atlassian provides thorough online guides, knowledge bases, and community forums, direct hands-on support is less accessible. For urgent issues, relying heavily on self-service materials can be frustrating and time-consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is solving the problem of fragmented and inconsistent documentation within our workforce scheduling software projects at Caresystems South Asia. Previously, technical requirements, client onboarding documents, and internal knowledge bases were stored across multiple tools, which often led to duplication, version control issues, and wasted time searching for the right document. Confluence brings all of this into one central, structured, and easily searchable space.

The main benefit is improved efficiency and collaboration. Our developers, consultants, and support staff can work together in real time, ensuring that updates are visible immediately and reducing communication gaps. Its integration with Jira further connects documentation with project management, which is particularly useful in coordinating software development, testing, and client deployment. Overall, Confluence enables our teams to save time, maintain accuracy, and ensure that everyone has access to the most current information.

The most notable advantages of the program are:
- Ability to share information with the entire team quickly and effectively.
- The templates it includes are very good and easy to use and configure.
- The implementation requires minimal effort as it only requires creating an account, and it can even be linked with Jira.
- The frequency of use of this tool is very high due to how easy and intuitive it is to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some disadvantages I notice are:
- Performance with heavy files.
- Lack of features like kanban diagrams or Gantt charts.
- 100% cloud dependency, documents cannot be downloaded for offline editing and then re-uploaded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Centralization of documents
- Easy updating of documentation

Keeps our team organized and on the same page

  • August 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence has become our go-to place for anything the team needs to reference: project plans, meeting notes, how-to guides, you name it. It’s easy to update, and the search works well, so I can find what I need without digging through emails or Slack threads. I like that I can link Jira tickets, add diagrams, or drop in code snippets right into a page. It makes it much easier to keep everyone (developers, designers, and stakeholders) on the same page without jumping between tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes pages with lots of images or embedded content take a while to load, which can be frustrating if you’re in a hurry. Permissions are powerful, but they can be a bit tricky to manage, and if your team doesn’t keep things tidy, the content can get a little chaotic over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence has helped us centralize all of our team’s knowledge into one easy-to-search place. Before, important information was scattered across emails, chat threads, and personal docs, which made onboarding new team members slow and often led to duplicated work. Now, we can store meeting notes, project decisions, and best practices in one spot, so everyone has access to the same, up-to-date information. This has cut down on time wasted searching for answers and improved consistency across projects.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All project related wiki/documents are created in Confluence which makes it easy to find them in need

  • August 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is easy to use and has very good user experience in terms of documentation of any project management activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes to express some specific charts or tabular form where there is large data can be a little cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps in creating documentation in various phases like for example in testing or working in agile, for every phase and every activity we can maintain documents in a hierarchy or in an organised way.

Simply Amazing

  • August 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using confluence for more than 4 years now. Not only is it amazing in terms of its use for ticket management( Jira) but the articles and content saving feature of confluence makes it more amazing and a complete go to place for everything work related.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dnt like about confluence is that the new conflience experience is being enforced instead of making it optional. I am an old school guy and want to stick with the old experience and the old look.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is making my life easier. Whenever I want to know about a newly introduced feature or a documentarion, I look into confluence using its search bar and I am able to find every required document successfully and easily in one place.
