Easy to use, organized, but not pretty
What do you like best about the product?
I like how organized the WIKI function is- multiple pages within pages and easy to add new sections.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very design heavy. It doesn’t have to have everything, but some more options for thumbnails and graphics would be nice. Also searching within WIKI does not work well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training and accountability. Go to place to store everything.
Everyone needs structure in their life
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence functions as a great tool to document and structure business processes in a secure environment. Confluence operates as far more than just your typical knowledge management system in that you can collaborate with your team to document things in real-time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Page edit features are pretty minimal. It would be nice if there were more text/page formatting options available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Confluence to host our knowledgeable.
Easy to manage wiki resource
What do you like best about the product?
Administrating Confluence has been easy to maintain and upgrade throughout the years. I have worked on different installs and never ran into any major issues while administrating this product.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to integrate non-Atlassian products to utilize Wiki. Not always preferred across all teams in the business.

Can be nice for teams across different areas of the business, but purely tech team might want to consider different alternatives.

I like the interface of this product. I thought that it was designed well and it is easy to use.

It took a little while for the product to load, but it is possible that it could have perhaps been my computer.

It made my workday easier, and my coworkers liked it too.
Great knowledge management solution
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a great work KM solution steamlining collaboration between teams and projects.
The ability to quickly create articles and share them with stakeholders is a great feature, add to that the ability to integrate and link to Jira tickets easily as well as install additional plugins to trello, workflows etc.
Confluence has a solid text editor with a the most commonly required capabilities which could be upgraded with additional plugins.

What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence still lacks some features when it comes to collaboration and synchronous editing of a single document and they don't seem to get it as google managed to.
It's too easy to stumble over your colleagues edits, overwrite them or publish them by mistake without even knowing you've done so.
Search results could also be improved as it's sometimes hard to sift through the many results in search of the page you're looking for.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence allows us to share plans, specs, decisions and technical documentation across teams in an open and transparent manner. It is a flexible tool that can be used by multiple stake holders across the org including product, project, management and development alike.
Confluence - One stop solution for Project documents
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly UI. Anything that can be done using Microsoft Word or Excel can be achieved using the Confluence for project related documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confluence doesn't have the Work flow approvals that can be created for project documents. I do not see option to create a work flow approval for any of the pages we create. In Sharepoint we use workflow approvals to get the signoffs from business team or leadership team. Here in Confluence when we create any pages where we need signoffs, we do not see any option to achieve the same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every thing is a page in confluence and we need not upload documents. All project related information can be stored as pages within Spaces in Confluence. Unless Sharepoint where we need to upload documents either a word document or Excel file which causes issue in opening up with different versions of Office as well with different OS like Mac, windows etc. In confluence it is all pages and are not documents.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Confluence can be replaced with any existing SDLC or project documentation tools as this can be a one place accessing all project information. This differs from other tools as here it is all pages where we can create tables with columns/rows, copy paste any images on the page etc.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how you are able to edit agendas/meeting minutes in real time to keep everyone on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
The page tree is somewhat cluttered and can look like too much is going on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By keeping our team on a collaborative working space, we can easily keep track of key documents in our project.
Great collaboration and information sharing tool for enterprise
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way we can manage any document here. I mean you can easily track and manage meeting notes, minutes of meeting as well as upload any document here. There is facility to add watchers to a page or space and for every change you make you have ability to notify them. I have been using it for a long time now and for every project I just go ahead and create a space and start adding pages and sub-pages as the project grows. It also integrates with bitbucket which is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ticket solving timeline should improve to reach better markets

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using this to manage knowledge sharing, meeting notes and team collaboration for project. It saves us a lot of time since bitbucket is our code repo. There is an inbuilt integration already present.
