Great Product, Slow onboarding

What do you dislike about the product?
Design lacks, and may make for slow onboarding

It's just ok
What do you like best about the product?
The ability for my whole team to collaborate in one place and make edits at the same time. Makes sharing information easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The weird, unique formatting nuances. Not enough synergy to MS Office, which I think the majority of business professionals are used to using at this point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Information sharing is easier with access for the whole team.
Our development shop uses Atlassian Confluence to be more productive
What do you like best about the product?
It encourages our team to collaborate and share knowledge they've gained individually with the group. Without their knowledge, when they leave, we take a huge hit in productivity. We need all this information collected into a central location for everyone to share.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only that we don't use it ENOUGH. I'd like to see it used even more for documentation and knowledge-base purposes. Maybe make it easier to draft and preview without publishing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving the problem of having one individual or individuals who hold all the knowledge, and if they leave we're in big trouble.

Confluence creates a one stop shop for our teams when it comes to information on our products as well as internal processes
One of the greatest tools to collaborate and build project knowledge base
What do you like best about the product?
A great collaboration tool where all project documents can be organized and shared in one centralized location. Best part I like is gliffy plugin.

It takes a while to figure out how to use it effectively. Searching the document is bit difficult if someone forget the name of the document.

What do you like best about the product?
I really love the interface and the ease of access with Confluence.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the fact that some permissions aren't as granular as I'd like them to be. Sometimes the permissions menu and the inherited permissions don't work as well as I'd like them to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Confluence as an internal wiki of information. We use it for how-to documentation as well.

Formalize and develop your processes with Confluence
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to start documenting existing actions and create process and reference points. It is also easy to connect tickets and also introduce the benefits of formalizing all the requests in a single platform for growing startups that need to start watching the cost of supporting a customer. The tools allows for some forms of built-in reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've championed the use of confluence for the team. It took approximately 11 months of discussions. At this point i am focused on what works. So i cannot report on what i dislike just yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing LTV; development costs. Adding cost and effort visibility for the team: anyone from the development to services and sales teams.
Good for use as a wiki
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to create a custom space where I can store documentation, write notes, and collaborate with teammates. It is also joined at the hip with Jira which we use to manage our daily work.
What do you dislike about the product?
As powerful as it is, It can be a bit unwieldy at times. It is like a giant room with no walls and you need to decide where to put the walls, define the rooms, set the rules, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
many groups use it here differently, but almost all are using it as a place to store information (notes, documentation, etc.) relevant to the project at hand.
