What do you like best about the product?
I have used a lot of these things over the years (Lotus Notes!) but it is modern and slick wiki system that lets you write tons of documentation and collaborate with teams in a secure environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a learning curve which is steeper than you would expect so less tech-savvy team members are not going to use it w/o some help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Public documentation, project documentation, project management, meeting documentation.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of access and ability to communicate with groups and individuals

No complaints other than sometimes it shuts down and doesn't offer many emoticons

Communications and the way we can be states away and still communicate in a protected environment

Powerful, robust collaboration space

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is flexible and easy to use for most users. There are also powerful features which teams can use for collaboration and documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unless there is some specific ground rules set for your organization regarding formatting and content structure, the tool can quickly become burdensome to both edit and maintain as well as read.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training and educational/knowledge resources. We needed a place where folks can refer to how to do certain tasks rather than having the same questions asked repeatedly.

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence easily allows our team to ask and answer questions, making information easily accessible across the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's honestly nothing that I can say I dislike about Confluence, it may help to be able to set yearly or bi-yearly reminders in case information is outdated. Little check ins from the platform could be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can store frequently asked questions and nitty gritty details all in one place. It makes finding information and asking questions a breeze. It's also useful that everyone in our company can utilize the tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Would recommend as a way to share information between teams and company members. Love the question asking ability.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can see everyone's profile in the business, makes it feel more connected

It's a bit confusing at first, but once you realize the flow it's easy to use

Everything can be held in one place for all of the company. Org charts, maps of offices, and newsletters to updated all departments. It streamlines communication

What do you like best about the product?
This DMS software has a lot of features and was a much needed solution for our organization. It's quick and easy to find what I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cloud version is not as powerful as the server version. Paid add-ons also need to be improved like Questions for Confluence. They are missing important and common sense features. Third party add-ons need to be better vetted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better organisation for company documentation, transparency across all departments and providing a single source of truth

Team collaboration made easy.

What do you like best about the product?
My team is currently considering Confluence as an internal method of working on projects and collaborating. Since we support a lot of different products and devices for multiple customers, our daily routine consists of following a lot of different procedures and directives. We work in an environment where a lot of instructions, images and videos are being exchanged in order to resolve specific customer problem. While skype for business is helpful when you need to send a short instruction or an image or two, it isn’t that practical for more elaborate cooperation or project.
That’s where Confluence steps in. It provides a space for teams to collaborate, share content, ideas and even write knowledge base articles. It is basically a cloud service, meeting space, social platform and a knowledge base. It combines all of that into one centralized platform which speeds up and makes team collaboration easier and more interesting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing plan is somewhat steep when compared to other solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer support services in regards
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In theory, Sharepoint offers almost the same things, but somehow Confluence feels better adn it's more practical for users.

ease of use with support of versioning.
Multiple people can use it simultaneously.

Not so good integration with MS Office and sharepoint
Mobile integration can be improved.

The ability to store and access information to be shared across departments and teams. The Confluence software makes collaboration much smoother within my organization.

Requires some training from the IT department before becoming proficient at the back-end features.

Sharing techical information between departments and teams to foster collaboration
