Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try to shoe Confluence information in JIRA
Handy "wiki" like tool for documentation, runbooks, project statuses etc.
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to share updates on articles that you want to share with people who follow that article, folder or space (which is the name what Confluence uses for example to separate HR, Marketing, Customer Support etc. areas). Also the editing features for articles are quite easy to use and sufficient for many different purposes. One other thing worth mentioning is their option for creating template files. This feature comes in handy if for example you have recurring meetings for which you have certain topics that you go through every time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Menu structures and usability aren't the best. I'd like to see more customisation options on the menu structure and it's size, especially when you have longer names for folders, files etc. It is not bad by any means but a bit frustrating when you cannot see the whole name of the folder for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Runbooks and other guides are very well organised and updated with Confluence.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Building your own wiki is one option but price wise, I'd recommend Confluence. Especially impressed by the update management for existing articles (can choose who do you want to see the changes in the content, if anyone. Also you can select yourself which articles you want to follow and which you want do not want to.)
Executive Assistant for Impact
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the flexibility you have in creating spaces and pages that work for you and your teams needs. Also the ability to engage with the software like social media makes it a bit more user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the creation of content required a little more backend knowledge than I had, so at times it could be a struggle to interact or create the content if you didn't already have a working knowledge of the software. Sometimes it was difficult for older colleagues in the organization to navigate and required additional training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have a space where a great majority of our inter communication is shared. The blog space has been the most beneficial because it allows information to be shared and discussed without sending multiple emails and adding to already cluttered inboxes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We had a tough time implementing it due to how we chose to roll everything out. I would say make this software a part of your on boarding process for new hires and have a clear vision of how you want to use it organizationally and departmentally and communicate those expectations to the staff.
It is an excellent team collaboration tool, which you should not stop using
What do you like best about the product?
It is excellent for team collaboration in the creation of our content and work management, we do not always have time for meetings even with people from your work environment, it is a very useful application in that sense, you can include multimedia resources, plan projects , schedule meetings, comment, leave notes to another team member
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not contain a single tool that helps to carry out a comprehensive project monitoring
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The organization has been paramount, we have been able to sort and list our activities, establishing priorities for its realization, managing to maintain all the active work team in the fulfillment of its activities
Couldn’t provide screenshot because log in requires 2 fac yubi key authentication

I think it’s a great way to provide a communal reference point when struggling to address an issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
It provides a high capacity knowledge base I can utilize to better my job related skills, the search bar also makes finding information super quick and easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving operations flow problems with confluence using mostly SOP flow charts. The wealth of knowledge has made me better at assisting client’s specific needs.
Perfect collaboration tool for Enterprise Software

I like the integration with JIRA and all other task management and tools from the Attlasian Suite.

Would make it more interactive, and more export formats would be perfect for minutes of meetings for example. Also, integrating with code versioning systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documentation is key to every successful software platform. Using Confluence for Enterprise Software is a plus, because of it's features and integrations available.
Good to keep documentation
What do you like best about the product?
It is fantastic tool to keep all your internal documentation into this software. It is fantastic as you can organize by spaces and then by sections/groups, which you can then add pages under. On each page is fantastic as you can use plugins of Confluence to integrate an accurate editor, as if it was like text editor. In addition incorporates, table of contents and macros if you want to export the page, it has a feature which allows you to download in different extensions like word or pdf for example.
What do you dislike about the product?
Searching is still not accurate, as tried in several occasions search by different keywords and is not accurate. It is hard to maintain as lot of users in the company are using it and can experience performance issues. There is as well a complexity in terms of set restrictions to users in different pages or spaces, as sometimes you are allowing certain user and it doesn't make effect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This solves us to share information internally in some of departments which we are compromised to keep updated as it is really useful to check tips and important data that we are often working on it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
First of all try the software as there are different solutions can suit you, like cloud one it's easier to implement. But as mentioned into advantage's section, it is a good tool that is facilitating part of your work and it is easier for employees to use.
Full blown collaboration platform

It would be nice to make the documentation we put in Confluence accessible to our end users, but you need to be licensed to use it.
