Confluence Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to collaborate with my group when working on a project. Confluence makes it so easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no dislikes! This product makes my job so much easier. It reduced the confusion and trying to get everyone free enough to meet up to share information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems confluence solve for me is keeping everyone updated about what's going on. Before Confluence it was tough to do when everyone has their own schedule.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Confluence is the best!
Atlassian makes great products but Confluence has some rough edges
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is easy to assign tasks to team members and to share updates across teams (PMM, Automation, Development, etc) with the click of a few dropdowns using Confluence.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. It is difficult to edit formatted or rich text documents. Improvements have been made but it is still rough.
2. The layout of information makes it difficult to find simple functions (cc; a person on a task update) sometimes. You have to search around ask a friend "where is that feature that allows you to ...?" and then memorize it for the next time. The UI is not intuitive, type-ahead search, dropdowns, mouse-overs are not where they would be most useful.

Using Confluence to manage marketing sprints (execution of marketing campaigns)
It works
What do you like best about the product?
Sharing documents is easy, given you have permissions, and collaborations are made easy! I like that all the team members can participate.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to find what you're looking for unless you have a direct link. Also trainings for this program have no been made available, as far as I know.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication. With teams as large as we have, across multiple shifts, this has helped bring ideas and opinions together.
Reliable product with ,multiple useful features.
What do you like best about the product?
Best project management tool in my opinion!
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to learn about how to work with Confluence and integration with JIRA will required some developer knowledge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Useful tool for teamwork, easy to use if the team is overseas.
Great and powerful product that needs to improve usability
What do you like best about the product?
How powerful the content management and knowledge management possibilities are.
What do you dislike about the product?
Interface, user experience. You don`t feel like using, but you know you need to because it`s important.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowledge management. Better control of data so we don`t lose information when people leave the company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you don`t give up in the beginning as it`s painful and boring but the results are amazing. Make sure you have a strong leader/sponsor for the project.
Great tool for documentation!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can link your JIRA Epics and Stories to Confluence when creating documentation for software products.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very difficult at times to work with the spacing. Also, the preview of the page and final version of the page shows 2 different views.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Confluence for documentation on all the products that are being created. If a new person joins my team, I direct him/her to look at the Confluence pages for the specific product he/she will be working on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use this product if you need to make the details or your product visible at a large scale
Great Wiki Style Documentation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a great documentation tool that makes it easy to collaborate and consolidate documentation. The tool has many great add-ons to allow for creating graphs and other visual illustrations. It also has versioning history and a comment section for each page.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only dislike is the search capabilities. The functionality is there, just not robust enough. Since we use Confluence as our main source of documentation, it can get frustrating when the search results are not quite what you want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are consolidating all our documentation into one place for easy use by all teams. Confluence is easy to use by all so there is a minimal learning curve. Additionally, the tool has great revisioning features and allows for comments for social interactions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I like Confluence quite a bit. It is easy to use and allows for great collaborations.

It is design in better way and different department have different section
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes unless you put in specific search word, you are able to find article
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding support articles for different issue
Organized knowledge base
What do you like best about the product?
We use confluence to organize all our how-to articles, policies and procedures, and meeting agendas and minutes. All content can be organized however we want and each team can make their own space. I also like that if you watch a space you will get an email when something is updated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I want to transfer something from one document on quip over to confluence and the formatting gets altered so sometimes it takes longer than I would like to transfer documents we already have if it’s not a certain format. We also have some team members that use the confluence cloud app and we had to reformat our pages to make them more user friendly on the app
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing the team knowledge base so information is easily accessible or searchable.
