Simple Collaboration Software
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence makes it super easy to share information across teams within an organization. The interface makes is easy to post, comment and consume information. File sharing is also made trivial.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of some editing features and can make it difficult to express what you intend. This is especially apparent because writing code inline is more challenging than it should be and comments are limited in the formatting they support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it easy to share information across teams and reduces the time it takes to find information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure your team is aware and agrees on best practices on using Confluence. No matter how good the software is, if your team doesn't agree on how collaboration should occur, collaboration will be stifled.
Review for Confluence - great knowledge sharing system
What do you like best about the product?
The way it simplifies project and process documents collaboration. It has features to draw flow charts, create giphys which makes technical documentation look appealing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to incorporate bullets, lists or any other nesting feature
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for creating technical documentation for my team and documenting the process flows of the Python codes that I wrote using flow chart diagrams.

What do you like best about the product?
Common place holder and easy access to share knowledge and upload documents or pages for the team
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot maintain historical sheets or docs like word,excel, etc
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to capture timings of some logs periodically and place them in confluence but cannot add excel sheet

I like that it seems to have every feature I can think of, but that the interface isn't overly convoluted.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how unmanageable it can be with a lot of content from a lot of people. But that's a self inflicted problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to share information with a large amount of people.

I like that you can use it as an interactive tool to build upon within teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it never seems to provide me the feedback that I am in need of, but I know that this is more of a reflection of how our company uses Confluence than Confluence, itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides the opportunity to keep well documented information all in one place and to build upon that documentation with certain permissions (i.e. allowing coworkers access to make edits on something that you wrote).
Great Place to Store and ShareDocuments
What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaboration aspect of Confluence and how it integrates with JIRA to track projects
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that its only internal and external users can not contribute.

Tracking project related documents and FAQs. Makes collaboration and document sharing very easy and efficient
Great Wiki Solution For Documentation and Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I'm really a huge fan of the collaborative editing feature within confluence. This works in a manner almost identically to google docs where multiple users can edit a page in real time. Also the nested permissions and children page display allows you to dictate a very granular level of access within your organization
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the the complexity of setup for hosting Confluence On prem. One of the hardest aspects of the set-up was configuring the Synchrony server. It is responsible for powering the real time editing plugin that many users benefit from. Also I dislike the complexity of the layouts when editing spaces. By this i mean navigating through already existing children displays and other Macros that may be embedded within various wiki pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I would say that the business problem we are trying to solve is to put all relevant company information across all departments in one place where everyone can access it. I have also realized that when using confluence in conjunction with Jira, you can boost productivity by linking tasks you are working on in Jira directly on wiki pages that you create. This allows users to quickly jump between Confluence and Jira.

Makes Sharing Information Easy Amongst Teams
What do you like best about the product?
easily searchable and organized, very flexible for your organization wants to set it up
What do you dislike about the product?
If it isn't organized well things can get very cluttered and hard to navigate, but that's come with the territory of being flexible
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing information among teams is much easier, saves time from answering the same questions over and over again.

What do you like best about the product?
I like to use Confluence best for its ability for all team members to write and review pages for tutorials, help segments or information regarding something. Its also easy to use and edit. It has search features. I like the comments features. You can also export pages in PDF of DOC format or print them off as needed
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike anything as such. I would have preferred if it made easy for the user to draw daigrams in confluence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits i realized is the ease with with documentation can be done. Also, the user does not lose formatting errors because of google drive or any such other legandary services.

I like to use it. Its super friendly and has compatibility with Jira and lot of other resources.
