Solid Enterprise Documentation Platform That Does What You Expect—And Does It Well

What do you like best about the product?
While the overlap with Jira certainly doesn't hurt ultimatley it's a solid enterprise collaborative documentation platform. There are of course alternatives but none that feel quite as enterprise solution, by and large it does what you expect it to do and it does it well.
What do you dislike about the product?
For an enterprise documentation platform I find the search particularly weak. Assuming teams have structured their documentation well it can be fairly straight forward to navigate but searching can result in a bit of a jumble of pages which are difficult to refine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence helps to solve challenges around fragmented knowledge and information stored in documents or presentations scattered throughout different locations. Providing a centralised, clear, structured place for documentation to live that can be collaborated on makes it considerably easier to either find the right information quickly or at least can signpost where to get information from.

Makes Daily Clinic Work and Content Planning Much More Organized

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is helping me keep my daily work more organized and easy to manage. I can write things clearly and come back to them anytime when I am busy with clinic work.
I work as a Dietician & Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content. I use Confluence to keep follow-up notes, care plans, weekly tasks, and content ideas in one place so that nothing gets missed during routine work.

Confluence is simple to use and I did not feel confused while creating my first pages. Creating a space for clinic work was easy, and I could quickly add pages for follow-ups, care notes, and planning. The editor is clean and writing feels natural, like using a normal document but more organized.

I use pages to maintain weekly follow-ups for patients, track what changes were made in care plans, and note down points that need review in the next visit. This helps me avoid writing the same things again and again in different files. I can open the same page and update it when there is a new update in the plan or routine.
Templates are useful when I want to write similar notes every week. It saves time and keeps the format consistent for follow-ups and care notes. Mentions help when I want to mark something important for later review. Customer care is responsive at solve issue when needed.

I also like that I can keep all related information in one place instead of using separate notebooks or documents. Linking related pages helps me connect follow-up notes with care instructions and planning notes, so I get a full picture quickly.
There are enough features for my kind of work like pages, simple organization of content, search to find old notes, and clean layout to read past updates. It feels smooth to move between pages and update small details without any hassle.

Overall, Confluence is helping me keep clinic follow-ups, care notes, and content planning more structured. It saves time, reduces confusion, and gives me a clear place to manage routine work in a simple and practical way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when I am editing a page and adding multiple notes, the cursor placement feels a little slow. If I open many pages at the same time, switching between them can feel slightly heavy on the browser.
The first-time setup of spaces and permissions took a little time to understand. I also wish there was a simpler way to quickly duplicate a full page structure for routine notes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is solving the problem of scattered notes and unorganized information in my daily clinic work and content planning. Earlier, follow-up notes, care instructions, weekly plans, and content ideas were spread across different files, notebooks, and apps. Because of this, it was easy to forget small details or spend extra time searching for past notes.
With Confluence, I can keep everything in one place in a clear and organized way. I create pages for weekly follow-ups, care notes, and routine clinic tasks. This helps me quickly check what was discussed in the last follow-up and what needs to be reviewed next time. It saves time during busy clinic hours because I do not have to search through multiple files.
Confluence also helps me keep my work consistent. I can use similar page formats for routine follow-ups and care notes, which makes my documentation more clear and easy to read later. When there is any change in a care plan, I can update the same page instead of creating new files again and again.
For content work, Confluence helps me keep content ideas, outlines, and notes in one place. I can plan health education topics, write key points, and update them over time. This helps me stay organized and avoid repeating work.

Overall, Confluence helps me bring structure to daily work, reduces confusion, and makes it easier to manage clinic notes and content planning in a simple and reliable way.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Confluence as a single source of truth for all company-related information, product guides, team overviews, project roadmaps, project and team planners, and the company wiki. I appreciate Confluence for providing a central location not only to store shareable information but also to easily create this information using an easy-to-use page builder. I love that Confluence can be accessed by the entire company, so everyone can collaborate and share relevant and sometimes critical information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love Confluence so far but if I had to say something it would be that I'd like more options in the page builder to be able to enhance shared information. I need to be able to add more fonts, styles, and colors to text and text blocks. Confluence as a whole product does require some time to be invested in learning the product before jumping straight in, although once you master the basics, you are on the path to success.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Confluence as a single source of truth for company information. It provides a central location to store and share information, and an easy-to-use platform for creating content. I love that it's accessible company-wide for collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Confluence for making project documentation and support cases easy to manage since it's cloud-based. It's simple to share documents, and people can review them without needing to download anything, which is very convenient. I like how Confluence integrates with JIRA, as it allows us to attach product documents and other stuff to JIRA tickets and scrum boards effortlessly. Setting it up was human-friendly and didn't require excessive steps. Overall, the ease of use and convenient features like JIRA integration, along with how it facilitates new people accessing information in the cloud, makes it valuable to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like improvement in search functionality. I want to see integrated AI features that provide more real-time search results.

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Confluence as a centralized documentation and collaboration tool. It makes it easy for my team to create, organize, and maintain project documentation like technical designs, requirements, meeting notes, SOPs, and knowledge base articles. The ease of creating, organizing, and maintaining documentation in a structured way is what I like most about it. The rich text editor, templates, and macros simplify documenting complex information clearly without much formatting effort. Real-time collaboration features, such as inline comments and mentions, make team discussions transparent and efficient. The integration with Jira is a big advantage since it links documentation directly to tasks and tickets, keeping work and context connected. I find Confluence's advanced search and page hierarchy very valuable, making it easy to quickly find relevant information, even in large workspaces. Page versioning and access controls ensure content accuracy and security. I appreciate embedding files, Jira issues, diagrams, and external links directly into pages, keeping everything contextual and easy to reference. The advanced search allows me to quickly locate specific pages or keywords without navigating through multiple spaces, saving time in large projects. Page hierarchy helps organize information, structuring content into parent and child pages makes navigation of complex documentation easier. The initial setup was straightforward, with easy space creation, basic permission setup, and team onboarding, aided by templates that allowed immediate documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
As documentation grows, pages can sometimes feel cluttered and maintaining a clean structure requires manual effort. The editor, though powerful, can occasionally be slow when working with large pages or many embedded elements. Also, managing permissions at a very granular level can become complex in larger organizations. Improving performance for large spaces and simplifying permission management would enhance the overall experience.

Confluence solves the problem of scattered documentation by providing a centralized source of truth, enhancing collaboration through real-time editing and commenting. It also eliminates the need for emails and shared drives, keeping all information in one accessible place and ensuring team alignment.
