Simple and Effective
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and also easy to customize access levels based on roles. Search is robust and tracking changes is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
The wiki pages are a bit complex. Mobile app is buggy. User interface can be improved. Version control can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence has made organizing and share project documents easy. It also helped ease shring project notes, reports and improved communication with employees

What do you like best about the product?
This software package is amazing and simple to use. It is helpful for informing management and creating Wikis
What do you dislike about the product?
Theming of the pages on export would be nice for creating top notch documentation

It allows us to create robust documentation and wiki pages. It exports to pdf for easy deliverables
Confluence Enhances Business Processes
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence creates an outlet for uniform, formalized business documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it logs me out and I have to clear my cookies to get logged back in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our office is trying to created Standard Operating Procedures and communications amongst the employees. I have realized it saves time, energy, and errors to keep documentation easily accessible and able to be updated.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It’s a great asset to any office! Use it to collaborate between team members.
A great resource
What do you like best about the product?
I recently started using confluence and I can’t believe it it not used everywhere. The ability to track procedures, and have anyone who needs to use have access to view, and edit the document is very helpful. Photos can be used to help as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish links could be incorporated to the server, rather than pasting as actual text. I also have received messages about updates to certain processes that others edit- when I did not need to be receiving them. Figuring out how to disable this feature was not as easy as I wish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Continuity between staff- new staff have a great resource to learn new processes.
Great Tool For a Wiki
What do you like best about the product?
It was very easy for me to create a section and sub-sections of documentation for my team. We store how-to's, procedure updates, and training notes in here. Its very easy to navigate and holds many types of media.
What do you dislike about the product?
Without the right organization, the information can become convoluted and hard to find. It's important that you organize your information correctly from the beginning because auditing after the fact is difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have a central repository for all our information regarding how-to's, procedure updates, and training notes. Everyone knows where to go first when they have a question, reducing the risk of distracting fellow employees with questions that can be answered in Confluence.

Have a structure to your content. Understand how you want to organize it beforehand.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the central wiki for all company needs, it makes it super easy when people join to learn the ins and outs

Navigation can be a pain if not properly set up

Information sharing across the whole company
Convenient and Easy to Use / Not so much helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I like that everything is fairly straightforward and the hierarchy of pages is great. Anyone can log in for the first time and basically be able to do whatever you need to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not the biggest fan of their searching features, or at least how everything is set up within my organization's confluence spaces. You can create tags and such, but that part of the page design is lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is mainly used to store information for FAQs, historical changes to different builds of our software, how to guides on enabling certain configurations for our customers environments. I like that everything we've documented is in once place, although that's more of a user by user case.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is totally fine - I don't have much experience with similar tools, but I would take it over salesforce any day.

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a great tool to use for an enterprise as well as for personal group projects. Confluence is seamless and easy to use with a variety of cool features that help with the birth and development of a project from start to finish. Confluence allows smoothly collaboration with features like calendars, status updates, various panes such as to-do checklists, vision/goal statements, and more. Confluence is easy to use and customizable for any project. Confluence has drastically improved the way projects are created, managed, and coordinated at my job.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont dislike anything about confluence except for the fact that its not heavily introduced and used in an enterprise. Not sure if the tool is too new for people and/or organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A one-stop shop for a project development and management that helps bring forth every aspects of a project including documents, files, schedules, etc into a centralized location versus thru emails, tangible documents, and outlook
