What do you like best about the product?
The ability to collaborate real-time on content that can be shared across the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to transfer content from other documents like Word as the format doesn't always transfer nicely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- The ability to share and control access to information across any department in your organization.
- Seeing a history of changes that occur to a page or content.

Mostly Adequate
What do you like best about the product?
Rich integration with Jira and the Atlassian ecosystem means I can easily keep everyone that needs the information I'm supplying, in the loop.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is cumbersome and somewhat dated. Text editing in particular is more limited than I would like and the page formatting options lack flexibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing of information and updates in a centralised repository.

The platform is good for file sharing and collaboration.

It is hard to upload screenshots and pictures, and the file format changes when downloading to Word.

Technical issues go through Jira. This is the nexus between a potential chain of communication that can begin from the client, pass on to our Sales representatives, then Operations and then the development team at last.
Confluence- a handful tool for sharing insight on anything business
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best in Confluence is the fact it is easy to share documents using the links- which can be made short too!
A big pro is that you can set a page/document to be accessible or not by someone depending on whether they have logged in or what are their login roles.

Nothing in particular, just the UI could do with an improvement as it looks a bit old fashioned- not using the latest version though so that might be a thing!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We share all sorts of documentation and guides with customers and partners. We also store insight for only within company use, even thought as of lately we try to move from confluence for that particular use, as we build another page for this.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You may definitely use this product for sharing documents and guides for people as your clients and your partners. You will find especially useful to create linking between each guide. Give some time to the administrator and the manager handling this to get around the lots of features that Confluence offers. You will find handy that pressing the letter while on any confluence page pops up a window with links to that page, on of them being a shortlink. You can then save yourself on a text or as browser bookmarks the most useful or commonly used links and in that way have them accessible much faster.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that confluence allows me to store and share documents, information, instructions, etc. with my team. I can track the progress of projects, share content with my coworkers, and consistently stay up-to-date on internal processes. We've created an Human Resources space within Confluence, where employees can find company policies, links to our HR software, up-to-date benefits information, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does take some time to figure out Confluence functionality. However, the application is very user-friendly & there are lots of videos on YouTube :)

Confluence is great for what we use it for
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is to use and train new users on. It is fairly intuitive in the set up and with a little effort can be well organized and easily navigated.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I dislike the most is probably the search function. I'm not sure what it is exactly that is wrong with it but sometimes it doesn't seem to return results that would be expected. Along the same lines the organization takes quite a bit of management but that is to be expected.

It works as our general knowledge base and a shared document repository. We use it for meeting notes and requirements gathering.

the confluence team removed nested tables.

follow up the changes made in the requirements of a project without the need to save a new version of the same document each time.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s the best one-stop place to store, share and access data and knowledge related to a project or work. It aids in collaboration with other colleagues, makes it easy to edit information, integrates with jira data and can create informative graphical data to represent all data neatly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have often seen it get prolonged to access project-related information; apart from this, I do not find any issues with confluence. A great too in fact
