What do you like best about the product?
I love how clean this software is to navigate and how seamlessly it works. It allows you to work on projects super easy and keeps things organized!
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be more settings to brighten the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, working together on projects and keeping documents in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
One place to collaborate and orgainze and track projects regardless of location.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tracking data is sometimes difficult or difficult to easily find older or closed projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to collaborate and communicate in one space with all regions and time zones in our teams.

Trusty Internal Knowledge Base

What do you like best about the product?
We use Confluence as an internal knowledge base to store proprietary information on clients as well as to document SOPs. I like the level of privacy and the ability to create page templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our entire team has difficulty finding pages within groups and teams. The organization is a little wonky and I've had to bookmark each page in my browser because it's easier than navigating within the software to find the page I want. Sometimes Confluence crashes and when it does, it's usually our for a couple hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without Confluence, our team would be working with conflicting knowledge about clients. We couldn't scale our operations either, since it's where we document our SOPs and training resources.

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence makes information collaboration and help page processes easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can take a learning curve and has some limitations, like any product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence solves the issue that Google Drive doesn't address, easy collaboration for work processes.

The trial is worth it! Makes collaborating easy.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the tool for organization of pages for reference (i.e. HR docs, templates, rules, etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of functions that are not intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Confluence primarily to help with event planning. It is great to be able to have the information all in one place, but can look messy if too many details.

What do you like best about the product?
It is the best way to update content in real time without waiting on you colleagues to get this work done. I have used this tool in my former team at the bank and it's real-time way to keep the content up to date so that our team can access it. Confluence also allows for file sharing so that multiple people can access at once
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there can be lags in updating content on the site. But I feel that these are bugs that happen from time to time but Confluence customer support is good with helping out with fixing the issue
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team collaboration, team real-time content update
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes, I do think they need to make some aesthetic changes to the interface to make it more user friendly. I would like to see the bug fixes actuallyresolved but otherwise it is a very useful application

What do you like best about the product?
We use Confluence to list procedures, changes, and updates our system gets. This is a guidebook for current employees and new. It is especially helpful when onboarding new employees, as our entire company has access to the pages in Confluence.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the design of the platform does get boring and looks a little outdated. It is not the biggest issue in the world, but sometimes it is hard to focus or find something quickly without reading it a few times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use to train new and current employees and so that information for the customer service team and partnerships team have a place to look up specific issues, subjects and communicate via comments and responses. The biggest benefit is that employees can reassure customers if the Confluence information is handy rather than having customers on hold too long or transferring to a supervisor.

What do you like best about the product?
Great way to write notes and keep records to share amongst team members so everyone is on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very intuitive, a bit too technical for ease of every day use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps everyone in the organization aligned. However, it is a bit technical and not everyone enjoys using.

Worth the effort

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence has been incredibly helpful in sorting and storing information and resources for our team. Each page can be as detailed or as simple as you like and the search bar makes it fairly easy to find information when you need it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not the most intuitive user interface. I've spent a lot of time searching for ways to accomplish different functions but it almost always takes a lot of digging around the internet to figure out how to get the tools to do what I need them to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have so many resources for our sales team that it's impossible for the individual reps to keep track of everything. This gives them a one-stop shop to find and share all of the content that they need as well as giving insight into the other teams in our company and making it easier to collaborate across functions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Play around with the different macros and look around for communities online where people share the things that they have made with Confluence. Also, use templates early and often! They make your life so much easier.

It is easy to use and navigate. The language is clear the instructions are clear the help section is clear as well

It is only as effective as the people who put in the data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It could be a very good database if you get good people to put in the data to get the answers that you'll need in a pinch
