Essential tool for collaborative management
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to have all the company's information in one place, from employee training to client information for the project.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not have a direct way to communicate with other users, another application is necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clients themselves can see the information they need through this platform with a simple training guide.

Complex tool when it comes to finding information. It is not too simple.

I like the fact that multiple of my coworkers can update our documents simultaneously

Sometimes there is a lag with updating documents at the same time. I believe that that can be fixed if there is enough complaints about it

The ability to share things across our business in a real time manner is very useful

Be able to allow for server bounces when using this product. You may think that information is uploaded in a timely way but that may not be the case

Too easy to click the wrong box. Wish they could fix this.

What do you like best about the product?
I use the Confluence applications on a regular basis for my work and there are several things that I like about them. The mobile applications provide a nice variety of tools that most companies could find to be beneficial.
At the start of your use of the Confluence mobile applications you'll have all of the tools that are necessary to expand extensions and plugins.
The Confluence mobile applications are extremely well compatible with each other - they can be used simultaneously - making it convenient for developers who need to have everything connected.

What do you dislike about the product?
The Confluence website! Good thing Confluence has reliable mobile applications because the Confluence website is always down! I find it super frustrating when working on my desktop computer and needing to access Confluence because 50 percent of the time, the website isn't working and I can't access my site. When I am able to access my site via the Confluence website, it is often very slow - I often have to reopen Confluence website - which also takes some amount of time to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence enables easy collaboration with my coworkers on things like documentation as we start a new topic or working with building a new product. It has made this collaboration easy and convenient.
The Confluence e-mail notification feature has also been great because it makes users aware of situations that are important. Confluence makes our daily routine simple and allows us to be more productive because it solves issues that occur on a specific day. I have found Confluence to be helpful in all different kinds of projects.

I recommend that you have a plan for the structure of a project before you start to use Confluence. This will makes things much easier and run smoother. I recommend Confluence for large companies as it will make collaboration much easier and more efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
Very quick to write documentation, export an share with customers. Also useful to work together with workmates in the same document. It also includes revision control.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exporting templates difficult to create for someone who does not know html or xml.

Tables are clumsy - there is a plug-in we could license to make tables better, but should be part of core function.

What do you like best about the product?
Lets you have documentation of your applications that can be easily updated by your teammates. You can have different spaces for each team, and edit freely the documentation. (with a changelog, that can be really useful when you change things wrong).
What do you dislike about the product?
The design seems a little bit old fashioned, but it really doesn't matter.
You can edit something that other person is editing too, and you can overwrite the changes.

My review on confluence
What do you like best about the product?
The way it keeps all the files and folder and its structure, we can have multiple files organized at same place on the left and we can navigate them in a very good way
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest i love confluence becuase of its structure and i dont have annything to dislike about

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is great for ensuring that ideas, documentation, requirements, RCA's and just about anything else you can write down is stored and displayed for your entire team / organization to collaborate on.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike other than the plugin's and their various pricing. So you have to really do some research to ensure you get a quality plugin at a price which is doable for your organization. The good news is that most offer free trials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence really allows our teams to collaborate not just on a single document but on entire groups and sections. Also since the collaboration is on demand we can each work on something, be updated on the changes and then followup and do what we need to.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try out the trial on a cloud based system first. Then if needed consider going to a self hosted environment if you are above $50 users as you'll find a cost savings overall and in the plugins.
