A good cooperative software
What do you like best about the product?
That everyone can be aware of any articles and new information and it can be shared between departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
That the updates are not made in real time, so you can't see whether someone is editing something or the documents cannot be locked in that case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration and knowledge sharing between departments. We have benefited on a better up-to-date status of the new thing the Technology department is doing so us as Support can be more aware of them.
Useful, but not sure I'd use over other apps
What do you like best about the product?
Simple layout, clean design, easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
Given all the other available apps out there to track tasks, updates, job, etc, I'm not sure why I'd choose this app/platform over others that are more easily accessible and free to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shared knowledge/updates between teams
Incredibly helpful collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
- Easiness of use and fast onboarding
- Very flexible user management
- Deep integration with JIRA, for example, instant JIRA issues creation from a Confluence page
- So much more additional functionality with add-ons - both free and paid
- Fast and accurate 'Live search'
- Very useful predefined page templates, like Meeting Notes, Retrospectives, Product Requirements, etc.
- Dozens of 'Macros' that help you to enhance the content of the pages, interlink it and make more dynamic

What do you dislike about the product?
- So much useful features are only available with paid add-ons (like connection with MS Sharepoint)
- Not very smart built-in 'Labels' macro, had to replace it with paid add-on
- Not very smart way of working with tables, had to use a paid add-on for that
- iPad app looks cool, but kind of lame when it comes to real text editing. I always use a tablet during meetings to take notes directly to Meeting Notes in Confluence. And it seems that just using Google Chrome to access and edit Confluence pages work better.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The major problem we were solving as Project Management Office is to combine and consolidate all project related information in one place with an easy access for all stakeholders and with an easy way to manage this data for project managers. The benefits are all that I listed above:
- a single point for everyone in the office to go to when they need to get project updates or specific info on their parts
- an easy and very modern tool for project managers and project teams to create and maintain project data, as well as to collaborate during projects completion.

Helpful in the workplace
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a place where the whole team can collaborate and document processes. It provides an easy way to organize this documentation as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
At tones the sleast arch feature makes it hard to nail down the correct location of the information that you are trying to acquire.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes the work easier to document with links and easy to read access of additional documents.
Confluence - pretty cool

the lack of integration with google calendar or gmail...

confluence helps us manage all of our product releases & patches and manage timelines
Recommendations to others considering the product:
allow for easy integrations with gmail and google calendar
Collaboration at its best

Easy to publish , store and access information. Cost effective and easy maintenance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Self training and hard to being with initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management. Publishing pages and sharing information and documents.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great product to use and simple and easy.
good, not great
What do you like best about the product?
Love that we can share data across teams. Love how easy it is to create a new page or topic.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's the least intuitive software...they think like Microsoft. They should focus on the improving the user experience...sometimes less is more. Instead of a million options, make the 10 most common things super easy, and I don't mean some stupid button with an obscure icon...i mean, improve the user workflow. It's expensive and doesn't really translate into other types of business use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing data in a central, secure location. Documenting the results of research and work. Documenting things we've figured out...how-to's, references, etc. Like the code block. Figure out how to integrate slack or make it more slack-like.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's convenient b/c other useful products already integrate, but it's NOT user friendly. You will have to train people to get them to use it. I kinda think a slack-like startup will beat them pretty quick.
Easy way to collaborate
What do you like best about the product?
I like how we can easily maintain our documentation on confluence
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was better integration with JIRA and that certain pages could be exposed to outside stakeholders without having them be users or see everything else in the spaec
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use confluence to help us maintain our documentation and meeting notes.
Easy way to stay on top of work
