Good collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
We generate software requirements in Confluence. It's an easy was to share information across teams and also to post comments that are viewable by all on the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the formatting is clunky and not intuitive. Creating bulleted and numbered lists can be a real challenge without frequent re-formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to Collaborate freely and the learning curve is extremely minimal for new users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely recommend Confluence if you have a need to keep all of your information in one place so that multiple teams/players can edit it and comment on the content. Easy to learn and great for both technical and non-technical users.

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a great software. Our company use it to share, find and collaborate stuff for work.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about confluence is sometimes is hard to navigate certain topic because it's overly populated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It a cool search engine specially when I was starting in our company. It has all the answers for new employees but it gets overwhelming sometimes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes I will recommend this software.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to share info all at once. Our service desk is immediately able to see when a change has been made and can search to find things when they're on a call. It's a wonderful tool to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting utilities could use work. It can be a bit difficult for a person who is new to be able to figure out how to make something look pretty. I'm sure that there are help articles available, but I didn't find what I needed for one particular thing. I'd like to see charts and things (Org chart, etc.) added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our IT service desk uses this to share information about our clients such as login info, best point of contact, IPs, recent work done, tips and tricks (to both the users and their equipment), etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate interface, makes it very easy to exchange information between departments. You can instantly see relevant updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Crashes a bit too often than preferable. Sometimes a bit hard to find specific info because of page organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IT department keeps everyone updated on current issues and solutions. Multiple departments can collaborate on a problem, increasing information sharing. Definitely improved company-wide communication.
Great tool for sharing information
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to create documentation and project plans. Very easy to use with the rest of the Atlassian suite, specifically JIRA. Lots of options for embedding other things (like Trello) within pages
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding users can be confusing and limited profile options for access. By default, even people within the org cannot access anything unless specifically added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to document and share project requirements and ongoing documentation.
Ultimate collaboration tool for company manual / information center
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of formatting of this software - pages look exactly how I want them to look where many other companies struggle with formatting adjustments when creating documents like these.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do think the UI can be improved a bit. There are simple functions such as adding a new tab within a sub section that take some getting used to and I've noticed many first time users needing help to get that done. I myself sometimes spend minutes toggling between options to get what I want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence is a central information drive for our company - it helps information be centralized around different policies, what teams we have and who is part of them, etc.
Keep your team organized
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to collaborate with team members on multiple projects and see versioning of pages is essential to keeping everyone in the loop on the status of projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
At present, we have a license that limits our seats and the next level up is significantly more expensive; consequently, we routinely have to remove people from our Confluence instance to free up seats for new people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence allows us to collaborate on multiple projects and reinforces accountability for tasks related to projects.
Confluence helps keep us on track
What do you like best about the product?
Our design and development teams use Confluence to keep track of decisions made, key risks, vacation days, product specifications, and every details that needs to be documented with respect to a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
The visual design of Confluence is minimal, and so every project and space looks alike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have found Confluence to be an efficient tool for documentation as well as a shared space for client communication.

Use is straightforward, and yet some people do not find the interface intuitive.

The ease of customizing the settings for each page. The ease of creating and organizing (re-organizing) spaces.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing, I like everything about the tool so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been using this as a team communication and accountability tool. We create many task lists and follow-up items during meetings.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is very easy to use and navigate. I work in sales (insurance). There’s a lot of information one need to know in my position and with confluence I don’t waste time searching for information due to how easy it is to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
indont have any dislikes about confluence, it makes my job easier and that’s good in my books.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management: by having all the information I need to do my job in one place, I’m not wasting time moving from tab to tab on my computer.
