What do you dislike about the product?
Limited video and file support. Markup could be better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Company collaboration
Great collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence's editing and merging tools are great!
What do you dislike about the product?
When there are many users editing at the same time, merging sometimes doesn't work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to help with collaboration across the team and visibility into meetings, documentation, processes, etc.
Extremely Flexible and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Very flexible. There is a bit of learning curve but not bad.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve, the navigation/hierarchy isn't very intuitive. I can't find pages very easily sometimes. wish there were more out of the box templates. Wish we could get users to view the pages without having to pay for licenses. We have the need for some users to just view pages not interact, create or modify.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documentation of our Salesforce and processes.
Solid, customizable knowledge base that's easy to manage
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility, customization, widgets, it's very functional.
What do you dislike about the product?
Search navigation can improve, but I understand that's a beast to perfect
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Detailed documentation, meeting notes, configuration guides, living process documentation - there are numerous.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a lightweight, customizable, easy integration and super simple to use.
Great for teams
What do you like best about the product?
Love the flexibility and how easy it is to share things
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a fan that a lot of the pages require widgets to do simple tasks, like adding an attachment list.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to consolidate information across remote teams without the use of an "intranet"
Confluence experience
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, documentation and reaching to the content you're looking for on a timely manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve, sometimes finding how to do things can be tricky. There should be more alternatives for API interfaces to create documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project tracking/documentation. Collaboration between teams spread geographically.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Integrated to other Atlassian products it works great, also as a first stepping stone into collaboration.
Powerful knowledge base
What do you like best about the product?
When intentional thought is used to leverage available macros and features, Confluence becomes a powerful search engine for your knowledge base.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited text editor features could be expanded for visual effect
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence allows us to link employees up with process documentation that allows them to perform tasks with confidence.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are couple of things I would like to be developed into Confluence
1. Integration with Git may be, to directly capture changes on a ticket
2. Ability to view the estimated hours on a ticket by hovering over the time display bars

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to track my tickets/stories that are being worked on, or in the backlog. It is an excellent task management tool. i also use it for all the documentation and maintaining attached documents on story tickets

I definitely recommend using confluence, as they are constantly coming out with new updates that enhance the user experience and enrich the feature set available
Confluence Review

Sharing information within a company
Still learning how to maximize the potential for our organization, but there's plenty of potential!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's a "meeting place" for our Board. Every resource they need will eventually be available to them from anywhere!
What do you dislike about the product?
Uploading documents is not really intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When someone on our Board needs a document, they don't need to ask me - they can simply sign on and find the information they need!
