Great shared knowledge tool
What do you like best about the product?
The layout and organizational options were exactly what we needed. We are able to create How to, troubleshoot and learn modules for our technicals that are easy to find and utilize in our fast paced position.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application fits perfectly within JIRA, there was nothing that I disliked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small tech team that works similar to a hive mind. We share a lot of information between each other quickly. Confluence made it so much easier to organize and utilize all of the bits of information that increases almost daily.

As the project Manager it allows me to go into a controlled space to see what is being worked on within my project. To provide feedback or give consent.

check it out properly for your requirement its constantly developing so review may be out of date

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence was used in my previous assignment with a leading bank and it was used managing project related details like how to install a particular software on a machine

I don’t have anything negative about confluence usage

Confluence served as project wiki where we managed everything related to project readily available

So easy to add articles and information to, also really easy to navigate through!
What do you dislike about the product?
Making Confluence look "good" is hard so far, trying to self-service, hoping to get there soon!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a consistent source of knowledge to use across over 10 markets with various different languages supported. It's great to have one place to look for all knowledge and training.

What do you like best about the product?
Love how it integrates with JIRA and we can organize our work and have a place to store longer term documentation related to our work in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss with wiki markup that used to be available in Confluence, but I can understand why it went away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is our longer term location to store our documentation for our services, and also allows us to define workflows and processes with our team for annual reviews.
A good wiki for people who already use the Atlassian Suite
What do you like best about the product?
The software integrates well with the atlassian suite and provides all the same functionality you would find in other wiki softwares.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's the most difficult to navigate wiki I've ever used. It's almost like they tried to make it confusing to find things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to host all of our in-house knowledge in the development team. We also use it to record sprint retrospectives.
Confluence: a week to learn, a lifetime to master
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great tool for collaboration, accountability, and organizing tons of content in easy-to-browse format.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, there seem to be unnecessary limitations or complexities. Generally when this happens, I eventually find a workaround or a feature we hadn't been using previously, but it's hard to learn every single feature offered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to collaborate across teams and ensure visibility into each other's work. It's also a great way to keep important information accessible rather than in someone's documents folder until they opt to share it out.
