What do you like best about the product?
maintaining task with deadline and followup reminder settings. Intermittent automated reminders for followup and targets. Also team task road map can also be monitored and reviewed.
What do you dislike about the product?
User interface can be more friendly. The subordinates or non tech person find it bit complex. GUI interface can simplify in better way
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business meetings and target milestone along with managing calander
Recommendations to others considering the product:
GUI and attractive interface would make it more interesting. feasibility to create dropdown fields may add value to user experience.

Lots of functionality to work with, if you can figure out how to navigate and set it up.

Admin privileges and access rights are hard to figure out. Continually lose track of where to find where certain subjects are stored.

Easy to use, great place to store information.

Can get messy and overcrowded, sometimes it's difficult to find things but I wouldn't say there's too much I dislike other than maybe the page format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business I work with is split up into lots of different teams working on the same project, we use it to collate our work, data etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to create, update and search the documentation in multiple projects.
The version management is perfect, even you can recover old changes.
You can create documents easily in other formats like pdf to deliver to the customers.
And the directly connection to Jira makes easy the work, at least in the software industry.

What do you dislike about the product?
You can have additional interesting functionalities using plugins but most of the time you must pay for them.
Another thing is that is a relatively expensive tool, maybe for small or medium size companies is not the best option.

It allows to have control of the documentation in the company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's an excellent tool, you are not going to regret the investment. Also if you already have another atlassian tool like JIRA or Zephyr.
Confluence is one of the best shared space to keep, share and organize documents, files etc..

I found it better than other document repository line Perforce and SharePoint.
Easy to create new pages, upload document and quick Search.
A power point presentation, a MS World document or an excel sheet can be linked or directly viewed on the browser.
Browser based searching is better than folder based doc sharing .

What do you dislike about the product?
Browsing page inside page is sometime annoying.
Setting document viewing and downloading user privileges is not easy.

My company keeps all product, marketing, sales and R&D related documents in confluence.
Day to day team meetings and notes are also kept in confluence.
Workflow and Diagrams are shared with Confluence.
Confluence is accessible throughout company employee and each user has privileged to access.

Frequently granting access to users and receiving too many notifications.

Documentation, keeping all JIRA stories connected, easy to edit and communication to all users with access.

It is a great tool! Great for collaboration, especially in Agile.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a good collaboration tool to share with others coworkers all kind of manuals and procedures in order to solve common problems. I like the easy way to configure the visual part and the clean organization with excelent finder.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I need to talk about the problems,maybe the worse part of the product is the time to need to expend in create the root.

We don't need to expend hours to solve common problems

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is a very intuitive and reliable piece of software - it makes documentation less cumbersome. Its integration with Jira is amazing. It makes life's of developers very easy. Hierarchy structure helps manage documentation for various projects easily. Access control is pretty good - we can restrict the page's access to certain users only. Searching for content is pretty quick and accurate. email notifications on content update for the pages you watch is nifty.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find confluence is slow - adjusting the fonts and making documentation look pretty is not easy in some instances. It adjusts the fonts some times automatically which is very annoying. Restarting confluence may take some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use confluence as primary documentation tool. We use it to write best practices, API documentations, new hire steps, deployment documents. Once we have the documentation in place, we share it with various people in the company.

Make sure you keep track of updated versions of confluence from Atlassian.
