Helpful but challenging to use

What do you like best about the product?
The concept. It was helpful at my last university job to have and use this for interdepartmental communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
Aesthetically, it was lacking, and it was tough to use. I needed more than one training course on the product, which everyone doesn’t always get.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Interdepartmental communication.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it, but be ready for the learning curve and don’t expect an aesthetically impressive system.

Confluence is Perfect for Sharing Work on Custom Applications!

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that meeting notes and logs or work can be shared through confluence and jira to track work and create metrics on what has been completed and what still needs to be completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you cannot easily access information in a deep level with the dashboard. I wish there was a more reliable search function that could get you to information you want to access again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are recording meeting notes and documenting information regarding custom application frameworks, networks, databases and any software tools that our group uses. Essentially we are using the agile framework!

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to edit documents and keep a clear history. They ability to track changes clearly
What do you dislike about the product?
Import PPT / pictures and out port is not so convenient
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our ability to share knowledge with wide range of individuals decreases the unknown factors and confusion when building a product
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are many times where the pages just refresh themselves or are not saved.
Need to work on integrating outside content like PDF, PPT and on export possibility.
Need to improve the table editing options

What do you like best about the product?
I loved the ability as an HR leader to create various pages specific to certain employees. I love the ability to share documents and materials with certain groups of employees. My teams have enjoyed the collaborative aspect in conjunction with GitHub.

The interface is boring - not inviting - should have ability to modify

Great tool to document, organize, and tag topics

What do you like best about the product?
The tagging functionality in Confluence is really great. You can easily organize your notes, tag them with the most common topics, and then easily search them to find topics. It made it easy to stay organize and share information with others in a scalable way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The navigation was sometimes difficult to use. It seemed to take several steps to organize the pages into folders and when a features are updated you're left to figure out how to navigate the changes on your own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Often times when you take notes, you write them down and never come back to them because you have to read through folders to find helpful information. With Confluence, your notes become truly effective because you can search use them to supplement Jira tickets and find the most important aspects easily. It's made it easy for our product team to capture important customer information and share with others, as well as reference the information later when creating requirements, MVPs, etc.

Great for making Wiki pages

What do you like best about the product?
We use this product for our team wiki pages. Everyone in the company then has access to this set of pages for instruction and direction
What do you dislike about the product?
The menu structure keeps changing so sometimes the learning curve can take some time.

Wiki Pages in a centralized location.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily collaborate with colleagues even in other departments. The pages setup also works very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
My major gripe is that in pages we’ve created that our clients can access, there’s no way to make changes to these pages without our clients getting an edit notification right away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’ve created a place to store meeting notes and agendas, and knowledge bases for internal and external use.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the search bar generally gets me what I'm looking for. I also like the architecture organization, how everything is organized in folders and files.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the amount of STUFF that ends up piling in without organization. Though there is an organized structure already in place, it easily gets cluttered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use confluence as a hub for our research and documents, sprint reviews, presentations, etc.
