Great Resource
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to access multiple pages and reference materials. A centralized repository for information. It is easy to access and utilize once you get a feel for it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes a bit to learn navigation. Interface is not intuitive at times. When initially learning to use the product, it took me time to find documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Putting information into one place that is accessible. It works as a central hub.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to learn how to use the software. It will be most helpful than learning on the fly.

There are a lot of functionalities, one always will answer our needs.

Sometimes is difficult to find the solutions. For some utilities people need to be experts.

Team organization. All my company started to use Confluence and the main solution was sharing information between the branches.

I like how easy it is to navigate through the product and how structured it can be as far as information storage goes.

It's very basic, but functional! I suppose a color change/modern layout would be something nice to see.

Being able to create different directories of information.

That is in not the most user friendly experience

Being able to have different types of documentation of different processes available

It's an internal system that any team member can visit in order to locate important information regarding how to do their job.

It's not very intuitive on how to organize it or add content. I usually don't like the formats, but I'm pretty limited in how I can customize it.

Documentation for code software, standards & procedures; how to work within our systems; note taking for important meetings and projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This system integrates with JIRA so it can be very helpful in that respect. It is also a nice way to keep important documentation for your team members to be able to quickly go to and figure out issues or learn how to more effectively do their job.

Very powerful tool for hosting and sharing data. Confluence works best in a way that you can keep updating your knowledge share according to the tool protocols and standards.

Confluence is a complete tool in itslf and I don’t think there is anything that I not like about it.

I used Confluence to post my knowledge share with others and also accessed other users knowledge pool to gain functionality about my system and functionality.
Collaboration Becomes 2nd Nature
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence allows for real time documentation and collaboration for teams of any size. The linkability for users allows for referenced locations, information, documents, etc. to be clickable, searchable and immediately shared. This has revolutionized how we handle project management, group announcements, training and on-boarding.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit glitchy at times- won’t save a new version or crashes and has to be reopened. But versioning features allow for recovery. SAVE OFTEN!!!
Also, this is not a formatting rich environment. If you like the basic look and feel of information sharing and don’t care about too many stylistic graphics, you’ll enjoy this environment.

Communication and collaboration solved. Documentation is a breeze if you can build a basic file structure.
Easy for new hires to search, learn and become early contributors rather than having to learn complex, legacy systems or locations. Think of it as a giant, interconnected team whiteboard with unlimited file cabinets that can be instantly searched.
