Great product
What do you like best about the product?
Great product, easy to use interface and easy to learn.

There is nothing that I dislike about this software

Great platform for Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
We recently moved from Livelink to Confluence to store documentation for our project. While Livelink only provided functionality as good as a shared drive plus change tracking history feature, Confluence provides a ton of interactive features for the team such as like what someone has done to appreciate, ask questions on someone's document and discuss right on the website. That's what makes it cool! Everyone in my project is happy with this move.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really there is not much to not like in Confluence. You pick what features you want to use in the dashboard and move forward with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Confluence for documentation primarily. Documentation consists of hyperlinks within our intranet and other how to documents.

Great for collaborating. Basic functions are easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Advanced features require training. Not intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy search and navigation across pages and teams. Timely updates and relevance
Confluence - Decent Collaboration Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to easily create a page quickly and add in information so that it can be broadcast to all members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Design of the application seems to be boring and outdated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having to manage multiple products, different teams and various projects, it is difficult to keep track of products, customers, projects and internal teams. This is where Confluence is good at; it allows members of each team or multiple teams to discuss work, managers can input and record their decisions on projects and product related issues, engineers can create custom pages documenting technical information related to all the different products, other members of teams can then comment on documents, it has many feature to allow members to collaborate as a team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely an application to try out if you need a decent collaboration tool with all the necessary features and functions.

The benefit is team connection and get the job done efficiently

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that it can be customisable meaning that in the end all the team can collaborate and work with the product. Makes it much easier to be able to have a clear and concise place to be able to actually know hwat each of the team are doing
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found that sometimes it can be slow to respond and the rate in which certain things load can make it quite slow. I have also found out that the search functionality could be improved, it sometimes does not bring back the features that we are needing. Creating a new confluence page sometimes can be a bit of a pain when starting from scratch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Full development of our system. The collaboration system is a lot more transparent for the team. Also means that any discussions are kept off this page so that we know that this is a clear place for actual product development and not an area whereby people are discussing back and forths - this is more of a clear definition for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As long as you are clear from the start then it is a great tool - You only get out what you put into the system I believe. We are using it in a clear and concise way so that all of our team know it is not a discussion forum but more of a forum whereby it is clear what we are working on

Easy to use, great user interface, makes project collaboration a breeze.

Have not been using for long, but haven't run across any problems.

Immediate hands on communication on and aboug changes to a project.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is easily accessible and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I use it every day. My least favorite part is that it randomly will not let you download excel sheets or tag coworkers for tasks.

We use it for documentation storage and organization for all our clients.

It has been a nice, company-wide tool so far.
Great tool to get connected with team to update Project Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way, the team share their opinion for the way the feel the documentation to be. I can interact with the concerned team player and ask for editions and suggestions and ideas if any in comments and discussion area.
In My opinion, a Novice user can get to know about basic and foremost functionalities for creating the documentation and update his work as per the requirement.
customer support is excellent, When i raise a ticket to confluence admin about my issue for single sign on login error with my credentials they got it fixed in no matter of time.

What do you dislike about the product?
Its very hard to use some security tools, unless you get to know about the tool. I would say if you get to know about the basic functionalities you can get the work then as per the request.

I have gathered all my Team players to review and edit the documentation for my project and let them give their inputs, so that the business is up and running always

I would recommend this tool for project documentation as it involves team collaboration
Great collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
Can access pages from anywhere with internet access, and can have multiple people working on the same page. It's also really useful for keeping track of lots of information in a tree structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing restrictions can be annoying to control, and it's tough to have multiple people working on the same page at the same time. The search feature isn't always super intuitive, which can be frustrating, but generally works well enough to be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's been really useful for collaborating across multiple institutions, and for keeping track of data and specific hardware performance. It's also useful for keeping track of my own work in a space that I can share with others and access easily.
