Great for mantianing documentation and linking to JIRA
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can link project documentation to JIRA tickets.,
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an opportunity to manage version control in confluence. It would aleviate the need for ducmuent repository.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We keep track of current project documentation, as it relates to tickets. This allows us to pull in documentation to our projects more easily.
Great way to work on collaborative projects with a team
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to keep track of group projects, and hold accountability to individual team members is by far the best aspect of this program. It also tracks older versions of documents, which makes working on new work straightforward. The contact management is much better than a traditional email server.
What do you dislike about the product?
The connection to Jira at times can be tricky to enable. While my company that I worked at did not disclose pricing, I am under the impression it was costly as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing documents, working on documents while tracking older versions, the security functions of the software, group collaboration.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend using this software for anyone working on projects in a group setting. It is straightforward to collaborate in groups and track old documents for management. Contact management is also ideal.
Good place for notes
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to add notes and collaborate on docs. Good templates for requirements, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to get users to look at Confluence if JIRA is also in use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documenting research, sharing knowledge and findings.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good for knowledge transfer and sharing but similar to Google docs in that regard

Confluence is great for sharing information, documenting decisions, sharing task-lists, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's table structure and rich text formatting lacks in some areas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence really helps your team plan and be on the same page. My team is able to reference one location for updates regarding a topic.

The ability the relate released tracked in JIRA to legible text and reports in Confluence

No real organization in the product. No real tracking to catch outdated content.

We use Wiki confluence to communicate processes as well as progress on trackable tickets and projects.
Awesome product

The collaboration of the sheets, information on leave etc

Bit slow while pulling up records, spinner keeps processing. Should be on VPN to access.

Better than Share point
What do you like best about the product?
It is a robust tool which serves as wiki in organization where we have lot of documents to be stored.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially it is confusing for a user to start with.But once we come to know about the software it is user friendly.

A single location where we can store a lot of documentations.It is much better than SharePoint when you work with.
One stop shop for all documenation
What do you like best about the product?
All documents, information, links, project references can be stored at one place, accessed & shared easily within the organization
What do you dislike about the product?
The format is difficult to understand and get used to for any new person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On-boarding of new people - Able to create a separate repository for training an don-boarding ad share it with any new people joining the project or organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learning to use this tool initially will be a little confusing but once you get used to it, it will be a great tool to use.

What do you like best about the product?
Documentation and managing all the stuff and ease of access is very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing much to dislike, sometimes it becomes slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documentation is easy.

What do you like best about the product?
It is so easy to use and become productive. However; it is scalable through add-ons and can become a very powerful enterprise level collaboration tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the user interface was closer to Office products so I wouldn't have to think about the environment I'm in just to do simple tasks like text formatting and table creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team collaboration plus electronic storage and retrieval of documentation. We have realized both goals and have discovered how beneficial it is when we have issues and require recovery.

Jump on the bandwagon! It is a great product and very inexpensive.
