What do you like best about the product?
It's an easy, central place for team communication and has great integration if your teams use JIRA. If you get to know the widget options, there are a lot of different variations of pages you can create.
What do you dislike about the product?
The editing capabilities could be improved; it's a bit clunky at times to make changes to pages, which I think results in some of our pages getting out of date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helped us track project risks - the pages that roll up (ex: decision log) are extremely beneficial. Benefits include better client communication because both organizations can easily access information.
Great tool for collaboration!
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence has the ability to be deployed either in the cloud or on-prem. We have decided the on-prem solution which is more convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Configuration can be complex if you do not have the relevant knowledge in house.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have deployed confluence to have a common platform to share documentation, project and it is also used a our internal KB. Thanks to many add-in and side application from Atlassian, we also have the ability to track tasks and progresses of other teams. It really help to track project in a large environment especially when teams are spread all over the globe.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are going on-prem be prepare to have the relevant staff internally who got the knowledge. Confluence is wide and propose a lot of customisation.
Awesome product management tool!

The intuitive UI. I almost always know exactly where to find everything. I also really like how you can link with JIRA related issues.

My company is using Confluence as a way to write/manage blog posts, take meeting minutes, design product specs and organize company wikis.

I like the ease of use of Confluence. It is has a ton of built in templates and plugins and many more that can be installed.

The default editor is lacking in a lot of formatting features. There are a number of "rich text" things that other editors do that it doesnt by default.

Cross collaboration of teams located in different locations.
Excellent system for information sharing.
What do you like best about the product?
It is relatively simple to learn how to edit pages. There are excellent panels and collaboration functions. Spaces are a good way to divide content between different teams or areas of concern. The search for any information is quite easy. Another good factor is its various integrated tools, for example, I can manage a team calendar here, make several add-ons and integrate it with Jira, etc., which is quite useful for us. It is also a great help and utility in the organization and management of projects in a company, since it allows you to integrate the members of the work team and have a better follow-up and documentation of the tasks.
Confluence's rich content editor makes it much easier for me to customize all my documents and make them look exactly as planned.
Confluence's rich content editor makes it much easier for me to customize all my documents and make them look exactly as planned.
What do you dislike about the product?
there are times when Confluence takes too long to load. Finally, although the documentation is exhaustive, sometimes you have to search long before you find the right support page for a function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its design is innovative, which allows any work team to use it without any problem. And the most important thing is to be able to use your mobile application and be in the whole process of your projects and not miss anything.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to share, communicate and collaborate on training and training documents, with a great team.
