Confluence is a great way to store information
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is an easy and clear way to aggregate information so that anyone with JIRA access can find information for whatever they need.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Confluence is that it's search functionality doesn't seem to work well. You really need to know what page name you are looking for to find it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Better way of organizing similar issues together. Searching for same issues requires a bit of research

Best Internal Documentation Software
What do you like best about the product?
The layout and search tools make finding SOPs and other relevant info a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really dislike anything. It's really that good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowledge distribution and SOP/similar internal document version control is much easier. Saves time and money by reducing errors and ensuring consistency across the organization.
Confluence is great for secure, internal documentation
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence allows us to create great, searchable documentation that can be restricted by teams or projects. Easily allows us to search for information and check the most up to date documentation when investigating customer issues. Also, the integration with JIRA helps to create project plans and convert action items into JIRA issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formatting and editing flexibility is most frustrating, the pages are not easily to edit and format as word documentation so there just seem to be limitations there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal documentation and record keeping amongst departments, easily track down information on changes, project plans and general internal documentation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understanding proper markdown and implementing proper page organization is key when using this product when properly organized and formatted it is a very helpful tool!

Upload maximums, creating templates can be tricky

What do you like best about the product?
The space allotted for many distinct pages. We've used Confluence as our "intranet" for a few years, housing documentation on projects, benefits descriptions, and "lessons learned" histories.
What do you dislike about the product?
If we were able to set up reminders for lack of page updates, it would be very helpful. Without a complete audit of usage, pages become dated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a location to house our project documentation, it is very useful for searches during onboarding.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Compare to Google Drive, keeping in mind the organizational possibilities of Confluence.

Team collaboration can be easily done and we can discuss matters before meetings.
Not Great - Wouldn't Recommend It
What do you like best about the product?
It has a list of impressive features and in theory sounds like a great app but...
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating the app is overly complicated, and the search doesn't help. I spend more time looking for the articles than reading/contributing. The Atlassian ID was also a mess, with a complicated account deletion process. Trying to download images a co-worker has uploaded has been challenging, they either download as a different format or they've disappeared (5yr+ files). My last issue is the content editor seems a little off and overly complicated to use.

Collating basic information like phone numbers, settings, etc.

Their new UI makes using the system even more frustrating.
