Searching file or document is easy to process.

The look is boring, at least the one I can view.

Its usability and ease to use makes it a preferable option to manage team activities and project planning and maintenance and overall repository purposes
What do you dislike about the product?
UI can be more colorful and tabular section and alignment is a big problem.It is really poor in terms of content alignment and not many options to customize the spacing between paragraphs and lines and many such petty things !

Overall Project Documents and artifacts are saved in this site

Very clean and powerful. Very user friendly, intuitive and easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a great onboarding experience. would have loved an in-product tutorial to walk first time users through all the capabilities that exist.

The chrome plugin does not work very well

Quick communication and clear reports with the chrome add on
Confluence was an easy way to document our work

The editor is simple, and I don't have to know weird markup like a WIKI. It was easy to create content for people to access.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far haven't had any complaints. It has exceeded our expectations when we moved away from Share Point/WIKI

We were trying to resolve issues with documentation. This was the easiest way to create/collect documentation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think about users who will be using it, and recommend that every person start documenting everything they do in it. It's helpful, and it's easy.
An awesome collaboration/ documentation tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence is super easy to use and understand. I love how it makes collaboration and sharing super easy throughout the organization. I also love how it's a central place to share knowledge. I go on Confluence everyday! It's also pretty cool how you are informed when someone changes an article/ updates something on Confluence so you're never not in the know.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a bit confusing at first learning how to use it. Other than that, so far so good!

Collaboration - we've had a hard time in our company sharing the latest updates/ policies with each other so this makes everything way easier.

You should have someone in charge of managing confluence/ keeping things updated.
Great collaboration software for truly living documentation

I like the editing tools and the richness that is available from the form-builders and other more advanced WYSIWYG tools.

Sometimes the linking and x-referencing capabilities of the product can be frustrating.

We keep lots of team process and also product documentation in Confluence.

Make sure your entire staff / org. commit to using this product - it takes a village.
Atlassian is really building mature products that stand out.

Having used confluence for years, I have come to appreciate its mature toolbox of collaboration and content feature set. It's a good alternative to SharePoint or a stripped down wiki.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workflow options are limited, and not enough integration with jira

Content that intranet platforms would typically handle, documentation, training, and project brainstorming.
Flexible and Functional
What do you like best about the product?
We use Confluence for planning all our product development and engineering resources. It's flexible enough to serve multiple teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Configuration can be a real pain - there are a lot of options, so there's a lot of setup required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted something that was well integrated with Jira, so Confluence made obvious sense for us to use.

Do the free trial, look for best practices, etc.
