Great repository for all work related documents
What do you like best about the product?
Confluence space is like a white board and can be used for almost anything. Include diagrams, tables, plug in JIRA reports, create dashboard etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Easy to abuse the space and make it clutter - not necessarily the tools problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single place to archive all important documents and provide clear visibility to all users.
Confluence for documentation
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to organise documentation and link to JIRA issues
What do you dislike about the product?
Not able to create tables/sorting efficiently
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documentation in a single place
Confluence is a joy to use for Knowledge management
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of editing in Confluence. The plugin ecosystem. The formatting
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of built in features for basic tasks, the fact that some things, like permissions and restrictions, aren't as intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We improved our team's ability to resolve issues by over 200%, developed a deep bench of operational runback knowledge, and managed to solidify our teams for more efficient project completion.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you do your implementation planning FIRST. Don't just dive in,. be prepared to have someone managing your knowledge daily.
Great for keeping record
What do you like best about the product?
I like that its an all in one place where an organization can put documentation, notes and generally anything that needs to be accessible by one or many people.
People can edit pages and you can comment generally anywhere.
Confluence has a "questions" section which allows users to ask questions and others to answer. Like an internal stackoverflow.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I feel like it has limitations or things you might expect, but its easier said than done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using it for internal docs, records and just everyday things we may need access to in one place.
It can be integrated with other softwares.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just make sure any integrations or company goals can easily be achieved. Don't assume it will do what you want.
Customer Service
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to find updates and to create new docs and link them where needed
What do you dislike about the product?
I really have no complaints for confluence. I think it is great for the way I use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to log important processes for consistency company wide. I also use it to share information with others.
Perfectly fine Wiki tool
What do you like best about the product?
If you're already using Jira, it's a convenient add-on Wiki for internal documentation. Straightforward, really no learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to really love or dislike! It's a pretty straightforward, simple tool. Some annoying email notifications (i.e. 'digests' of 'popular' things that have nothing to do with your area or team).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our engineering teams adopted Confluence for internal documentation, because they are already in Jira all day. Other teams were already using other tools for documentation, and there was no particular reason to adopt Confluence, so they didn't.
Confluence Review
What do you like best about the product?
You can post a lot of pages and information. We also use it for our JIRA service which works really well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pretty much all of it. It's not an attractive looking site, it is not easy to search or navigate. My company uses it to post a lot of information regarding our software, updates, etc... I have to book mark the pages they link to me directly, because I know if I close out of it and try to go back into confluence and find it, it will be like looking for a needle in a haystack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use confluence for our JIRA service. This allows us to create tickets when there are issues/bugs that need to be addressed by our development team. It is also a play to hub a lot of information, it is just so difficult to navigate.
Confluence works great, with the right setup
What do you like best about the product?
We use it as a central hub in our office. A page that receives daily updates, links to other tools that are used on a daily basis, and access to HR resources, work instructions, etc. I like that capability and that idea that confluence can be that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that we don't use it for more and part of that comes from the price and the other part comes from being stuck on the older version of it. So I guess I don't like the older version (maybe we have the new one but no one has taken the time to make it look good) and I dislike the pricing. The pricing because other apps do similar things for cheaper.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Relaying information to everyone in the office. Providing access to multiple resources to all employees.
Confluence Influencial

What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Collaborative tool
What do you like best about the product?
Helpful when creating a product manual for a client. Nice that there are public and private features. Syntax highlighting was helpful. Video embedding.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though the syntax highlighting was helpful, sometimes characters would be off. Moving around pages was not very easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Used it for online product manuals and how-to guides for clients. Also was helpful for onboarding process where how-to guides could be created for developers and employees.
