Confluence Documentation workspaces

  • December 28, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence has great indexing and search making finding all relevant information on a topic. Even in the case that a user may not know where exactly some documentation lives, they can find helpful info quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Prior to the most recent refresh the UI was a bit difficult to navigate. The new look and workflows are much better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We tried many tools to try and organize our organization documentation. Confluence is far and away the best tool for this job. We have seen great adoption across our entire organization, the sharing of information is phenomenal.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dive in and give it a try, if you use any of the other Atlassian products, jira/bitbucket it integrates very well.

What do you like best about the product?
Great platform if you use multiple attlassian tools (Jira, Hipchat, etc). Serves well as a source of record for document and content management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Real-time collaboration is weak and doing calculations and macros in a table isn’t there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Content management for official processes, specs, and projects.

Confluence delivers on its promise again!

  • December 27, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Confluence simply delivers on its promise. This is its greatest strength. Confluence is easy to use, fast, and intuitive to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could do with some better front-end design. Other than that it is perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Delivering documentation. Enabling collaboration. Enabling policy documentation. Enabling user spaces. We have seen a lot of benefits mostly centered around self-service content creation and enhanced collaboration and documentation management across the enterprise with Confluence.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You cannot go wrong. This is great software. Just get a good partner to help with the implementation or get a good team on your end.

Confluence is very good for team collaboration

  • December 27, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of creating & editing Confluence pages on the fly to enable communication of project details to the entire team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the editing tools are not obvious, but once you learn them, it is a very convenient tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scrum Team communication, project management, Agile Sprint management, requirements scheduling, defect scheduling, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Confluence is an extremely handy tool to use for team communication. If you already use Jira for defect or requirement management, Confluence links to Jira for information sharing of items in Jira.

Collaboration on documentation
